Only went for a drink after work one day - but the bar area is nice. There is an indoor/outdoor setting and the only issue is... that there is some road noise at times. It is a good location for a quick gathering before heading home after the work day. Read more

Very friendly staff and decently sized portions for an Outback. A really nice, seemingly new restaurant! Very nicely decorated... and designed. However, seating is very limited. Service was slow but with a smile. There is a nice bar too, but again, small insize for a normal Outback. Parking is plentiful and easy. And everything was clean. Read more

First time visit at this location. Ordered the 15oz Ribeye with Coconut Shrimp. Had the baked potato and rice pilaf. Raspberry... tea. Wish I had taken a picture before eating. Picture is of what I took home for dinner. Ordered a Bloomin' Onion appetizer.Delicious! One problem was that the shrimp was so over cooked that it was rock hard coating. I was hitting one on the plate toshow my friend how hard it was. The waitress saw me and brought me some properly cooked shrimp. Very good lunch. Read more

Thank you Brock for making this a 100% excellent experience. Took my daughter out for her 21st birthday tonight. Brock was our... waiter. Great guy. Very professional. Took great care of us. Had the steak and lobster and have to say that was the best.Lobster was awesome. Baked potato was Great. House salad was yummy. For dessert I had the cheesecake with strawberries. Omg. Thebest. Got a little cold in the room so we had the fireplace turned on and that did the job. We will definitely be back here. Read more

We had a really surreal experience here when my girlfriend and I, and her father went here to dine out before driving him... home. First, though the restaurant was perhaps 30% full, we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. This was alright, given that Iassume they were short-staffed at a normally low-activity time of day, but not ideal for my girlfriend's dad, given that theyoffered no cushioned seating to wait in (just a hard wooden bench). We also weren't really "seated" by the hostess; but rathershe walked around the corner to a table and left our menus and silver on the table and then went back to the hostess stand; dueto some confusion on our end (mostly to do with managing gf's dad and his walker, and safely getting to the table). Ideally, thehostess would see everyone seated -- the only real hint we got about which table was ours was the silverware rolls and menusthat she'd left there. After we were sat, there was some confusion/controversy about who our waiter was to be, so we werevisited by one waiter, then another, then our order was finally taken. I ordered a strip steak, bone-in, and a side ofasparagus -- I only mention my order, because after watching two other tables that came in after us receive their food, wewondered why our order was taking so long. The answer was (we were told this by yet another waitress, who we flagged down) thatall of our meals were held up waiting for my asparagus to be finished. What a weird thing to wait for, bring out the proteinsand then tell us the asparagus was lagging? Don't leave the main entrees all to cool waiting for it. We asked this waitress tobring us everything but the asparagus and she was very helpful about doing so. My skirt-steak was also, in the area of thebone, pretty undercooked, and nearly everything arrived cool. Haven't been to an Outback in several years and now I rememberwhy. Read more

Great service, nice outdoor patio area with heaters, if needed. Moderately priced as a steakhouse. Steak and shrimp plates are... very good. Baked potato soup is delicious. Read more

Had a nice lunch today, with two friends at this fairly new location near my home in San Marcos. Got there shortly after they... opened, so no parking problems, no waiting, and prompt and friendly service. Two of us had the Prime Rib Sandwich, her with asalad and me with the Aussie Fries (they're French Fries, but when in Sydney ...). We both loved the Prime Rib, and the sidedishes were more than ample. I washed mine down with a refreshing Seasonal Ale from Stone. They have a great selection ofCrafts...just ask. Our friend had one of the Burgers, which she enjoyed as well. The lunch prices were very reasonable, giventhe fare. Loved our young waitress, but unfortunately forgot her name. She was great, though! Only reason it's a 4? insteadof a 5 is the lack of any real ambience. I wasn't expecting Crocodile Dundee, but maybe something to remind me that I wasn't atsome other steakhouse. Read more
