UPDATE 11/21/22 Just got back from my birthday lunch, and it was fabulous as usual. Delicious food and great service...what more... could you ask for? ********************************************* We love the San Marcos Old Spaghetti Factory!! The staff hereis top notch. I usually get the Manager's Favorite with Meat Sauce and Mizithra Cheese...hearty portion so I have leftovers. Mywife enjoys the Potpourri which has Clam, Meat, Marinara sauces, plus Mizithra Cheese. We also like to add a side of ChickenParmesan... delicious. The bread is to die for...and the garlic butter really sets it off. Don't forget to get the Spumoni icecream to top off a really great meal. Read more

During the heat wave my friend and I went to dinner we walked in we had a reservation we got seated right away and they put us... in these two chairs right in the walkway where literally everyone has to walk by us. Not only that but they kept bumping into mychair the food was being carried over our heads by the servers when I asked for a different seat I was looked at like how couldI. The worst part was there was no AC and it was about 90° outside. There's no way I could have sat there and enjoyed a mealsweating like crazy. So we just left . It was way cooler outside than it was in the restaurant .This was my first time thereand I can't recommend it and I definitely don't see myself going there again. Read more

We just had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner in their private room. The food was outstanding and the service exceeded all... expectations. 60 people were served the entree they requested all at the same time. It was unbelievable. We were thrilled. Good experience for our first time. food was awesome. Thubms up. Our waiter was new and if he did not know he asked. He was very... kind. Thumbs up. Food was served fast but the restaurant was not packed at all. The store smelled coming right through the frontdoor like an old furniture smell. The decor was very dark. And furniture was dusty. But table and floors were clean. Overall Iwould go back. Had the strawberry lemonade, fettuccine with chicken and cheese garlic bread. The salad and ice cream andcomplimentary bread (not the garlic bread) was included in our meal. Good portion of good tasting food and good pricing. Thumbsup from us! Read more

This is always a favorite for our family. There were just two of us, and it was about 6 pm. We were able to be seated right... away, just before the dinner rush started. Our server, Wes, was very attentive and polite. I have a gluten allergy, and he letthe kitchen staff know so that my meal was as carefully prepared as possible (in a commercial kitchen) to help avoid crosscontamination. Our meal was delicious and our time there was very pleasant. We will certainly return, and I continue torecommend this Old Spaghetti Factory to anyone looking for a nice meal at a fair price. Super slow service, not busy. Cafeteria food. It used to be a nice place to go, but not anymore. The menu is lacking. I won't be... returning anytime soon. Overpriced for the quality served. Also, when I asked politely (more than once because our server forgota couple times) for boxes to go, they brought very tiny little boxes for our large plates. Which actually made me laugh becausethe look on my MIL's face was epic. So I snapped a candid shot. Lol! It was a fitting end to our not-so-great lunch. Read more

We are visiting from NY and our first time at The Old Spaghetti Factory. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I just had to... take photos. The waiter we had was very good and the meal of chicken parm was very good. They brought us soda refills and ourdessert in a timely fashion. Read more
