I'm visiting for a work conference. Wanted seafood but that's a different review so I came here. It was close to my hotel. It... was pretty busy and no one was at the hosting stand. No biggie. Went to the bar and the bar tender directed me to the to-goarea. Nice young lady took my order and brought it out to me. Customer service is an 8. I ordered the veggie quesadillas and theplate felt super light. Got back to my room, cracked the plate open and OMG. it was sooo good and although the plate was light, it was plenty of food in there. (I was hungry so no pic) the only negative that I have is I had to pay for rice as a side and itdidn't come with salsa. That was odd to me because every Mexican restaurant I've eaten at provided sides and condiments. I cantell that the tortillas are fresh. I'll give the food a 10. If I ever come back, I'll eat here again. They need to add sidesthough. Read more

I love the Dutton location and 3009. Mostly have lunch or dinner pork chops, enchiladas, the salsa delicious. Have had... breakfast a few times usually pretty good. The service used to be good. I understand it's hard these days with staffing evengetting supplies. Lorraine you are truly missed! However this past Sunday was the worst experience in customer service withsomeone we have never seen there. She had such an attitude my mother had to ask for a manager, who seemed to not care. It willbe some time before we go back. We eat there at least once a week and we don't even live in San Marcos. We even supported thislocation during covid. We ordered the beef fajitas plate and they were very delicious. The sweat tea was also good. The waiters seemed young and... learning. I did notice one person coming out from the kitchen eating what it looked like tortilla chips. Note sure if that's inyour policy but it just didn't look right. Pros: that strawberry margarita HITS. The chips and salsa are delicious. The food comes out very quickly. The staff are so... courteous Con: the flautas are under seasoned and they are fairly greasy. Ill still come back and try something new but overallit was delicious! Read more
Solid option for all your Tex Mex favorites. I tried the mixed fajitas tonight and they had great flavor. The chicken was not... dry and the beef was excellent. They also serve a veggie fajita plate. I asked if I could sub my rice for veggies, but mywaitress said no. But I was allowed to get fideo instead. I will never do no to fideo. Salsa was good as well as the queso. Ifthe owners read this review, please consider offering the grilled veggies as a substitute to help those that are trying to cutcarbs. Good meal overall and excellent service. Read more
