Well all I can say for the first time coming here relaxed environment a upscale the inside beautiful and warm with the firepit... so when you come out of the cold you will be invited into a warm and relaxing environment. My waitress kailee was super nice andfriendly for my first time being here so I appreciate it she recommended drinks and just was friendly to talk too so definitelywill bring my friends over here next time. Our visit to Palmer's today was disappointing. Positives are the venue, especially the courtyard, the service level (wait and... bar staff) and cocktail and wine choices. Negative is the food. For the prices they charge, the food quality is below average.The picture is a redfish dish with rice pilaf and asparagus. It was a very small piece of fish, rice was over cooked and theasparagus was just okay. This entree was $24. Total bill with tip for two people was $118. Just not worth it IMO. Read more

This restaurant is amazing. We had crispy Brie, pecan crusted chicken, rib eye, red potato mashers, Caesar salad, margarita... pie, and carrot cake. Oh my God. So so good. Our waitress was Kaylie. She was very attentive personable and such a doll. Shemade our first visit to Palmers so relaxing. She knows the menu and helped us decide. This place is a MUST! A very cozy restaurant, everything is at an excellent level! The waiters are the best, I really liked the service. We ordered... half-dozen of oysters, they were big and fresh. Our steak was very tasty of the right doneness. For dessert, we took thecheesecake, which was also delicious. In general, the restaurant is very atmospheric, and the courtyard is very nice. Came out for the Tuesday FISH-FRY special .. terrific, super crunchy and fresh. Seemed plenty for me but the hub said could've... had seconds. Even the adverised beer was yum. Definitely will return. Great service too! Read more

Came here for Sunday Brunch and it didn't disappoint. Very good menu selections, good drinks and a gorgeous outdoor patio. The... indoor bar is pretty cool also. Good pricing, good service. The bar service was very slow today. I think because of staffingchallenges per our waitress. Will come back. This is easily one of the better places in downtown San Marcos. Read more
