I placed an online order through the app and when I went to the restaurant, it was closed. The process to try and get my money... refunded has been one of the worst experiences I've had so far with this issue. This is the 2nd time an issue like this hashappened. Ordered at 5:30 , it?s almost 7:30 and still on hold for 40+ min. Our pizza was delivered through a third party after ordering... from papa johns app. It arrived THREE HOURS LATER at 8:00pm. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & FOOD POISONING Absolutely worst pizza place I?ve ever been to! We order delivery at 4pm, it was... Taking an unreasonable amount of time. Nobody answers the phone. So I get up and go down to the store to see what is going onwith my order. I get there and it?s only 1 kid doing everything. Which I understand, and I felt bad for him but he was actuallyvery rude and neglected all the customers in there. I waited 5 mins before he even asked how he can help me. Then once he did Iexplained that I never received my order.. he stops me mid sentence says ?hold on? and then continues cooking for another 15mins!!! He never even tried to check on my order. He told me our food was never even cooked. By the time I get home the food wasdelivered at my front door. So he completely lied and pretended to help me. Anyways, the order wasn?t what we asked for. So I understand that ordering a pizza on a Friday evening may take a while for delivery .. mine took 2.5 hours. I get it that... people make mistakes. For example the delivery driver forgot my 2 liter and dipping sauces. That?s fine I?m not upset in theslightest. These things happen... BUT what absolutely infuriated me is when the delivery driver upon being informed that I havemissing items says ?oh hold on I?ll be right back?? walks away, gets in his car and leaves. Just leaves?no explanation, no ?I?msorry?? nothing? (this gets better) I then call the local papa johns. Hit the option the ?speak to a manager? through theirphone system then hold for about five minutes to then have someone answer the call, say ?we closed? and then immediately hang upon me?wow, just WOW!! absolutely the worst papa Johns experience ever. After looking up their reviews from other folks thisseems to be pretty par for the course at this location at least. DO NOT order from this location if you expect to actually get food. The last time I ordered was nearly 4 months ago and they... delivered to the wrong address. When I tried to get the order replaced I was accused of lying about not recieving my food. Wehave a ring camera. No one ever approached our door. Tonight we decided to order and there was a 30-40 minute wait time. It hasbeen nearly 2 hours and we have not received our food. The tracker has said the order has been in preparation the entire time.I've currently been on hold trying to cancel my order for over 30 minutes and they close in 20 minutes, so I can only assumethey're ignoring their phone until they close. Order Gumbys instead, they're food is fantastic and they actually answer thephone if there's an issue with an order. Read more
I would give this store 0 stars if it was possible. Seriously ordered pizza and its been over 2 hours for delivery when online... it said 35-45 min. Tried calling the store over 10 times and sat on hold each time until the call disconnected. THIS ISABSOLUTELY ABSURD. If you cant get my pizza here on time, fine. I called in a delivery order Friday morning and was told that I should be able to get it by 6:45pm that same evening. Wrong. I... was out doing laundry and since I didn't have time to do dinner myself, I thought I would get a small pizza and eat it whiledoing laundry. Great idea, totally not do-able. First off, trying to talk to human beings at Papa John's is pretty much next toimpossible on the phone. They have that terrible commercial that plays when the employees don't want to answer the phone. Thepizza that I wanted was actually two dollars cheaper by phone than online. The person that I spoke with assured me that I couldhave it delivered at the required time. I asked if they had their own delivery people and she said yes. 6:45 came and went, nocall, no nothing from Papa John's. I had to call and found out that they were "behind", and they would call me. Right. 7:45came and went and as I was getting ready to leave to come home, I get a call from a Missouri number. Figured it was a scam call,so I ignored it. Then a few minutes later the same number calls again with a text this time. Turns out it is a door dash driverfor Papa John's wanting to know where I was. I told her that I was where I was supposed to be, and asked her where was she? Twominutes away she said. It seems that she had been by the laundry mat and didn't know who she was supposed to deliver to. Shecould have texted me the first time and avoided confusion. Now, it's after 8:00pm. I got my order and she got no tip. The pizzawas cold, looked like it had been in the fridge for a while. The quality was edible, but I don't think that I will do businesswith this company again.
