Small market with limited seating for the restaurant. Got all the items on my shopping list and the people here are so kind.... They have pantry goods, produce and frozen items. So glad I stopped in. Definitely will be back to try the restaurant! The foodlooks so good! Read more

The restaurant part serves great Thai food at equally great prices. The ambience is 100% hole-in-the-wall, which I always find... appealing in a world increasingly overtaken by chains giving the same bland experience. The shop part has a good selection forits size. It, not surprisingly, leans heavily towards Thai but there are selections from a variety of Asian cultures likeKorean, Vietnamese, and Japanese. Any place that keeps me from having to fight the parking lot that is I35 to North Austin getsa big thumbs up from me. Overall San Marcos is blessed to have this place. Read more

You could not ask for a better local restaurant! We've been eating here for years, and the food has always been consistently... good. It is a true family run restaurant, and you can tell that they take pride in the food that they make. My family lovescurry, and even my parents from Houston agree that this is the best. You also can't go wrong with any of their rice or noodledishes! Our friends and family have all been introduced to Prik Nam Pla and often request it when they come to visit. It's sopopular in our circle that in a 9 day period my parents wanted us to order it, then a friend came to visit a few days later andordered it, and then my wife's parents came to visit the following weekend and ordered it. Today I went to pick up some lunchand left my food at the counter (no caffeine brain fog). John came running after me as I was pulling out of the parking lot tohand me my food. Great people! Great food! The market has an amazing selection of hard to find food items! Read more

This is great local Asian market / Thai restaurant combo. I find my Thai ingredients there at reasonable price. Don?t expect to... be as big as H-mart. I love all Thai dishes there. They are very authentic. The crazy fish ball is a must try. People who workthere are very friendly and have great service mindset. Read more

Pretty good Thai food! Pictured is the pad prik gaeng (left) and shrimp basil fried rice. Both excellent. We've also had pad... Thai, Tom kha soup, and pad woon sen. As an aside the way the market selection is surprisingly robust for the size. The timesI've gone in for select Asian ingredients they've had it including dried shitake, kelp, and golden mountain sauce. Read more

They have LIFE CHANGING curry here. The red curry is the spiciest, followed by the green (though it is almost just as spicy as... the red), followed by the yellow. All are good options, and the spicy levels range from 5/10 - 7/10. The three curries do havedifferent ingredients, so pick the one that sounds most appealing to you. They have other good dishes, but the curry is thebest here. And, yes, even better than Thai Thai in town. The cook is an elderly gentleman who does not speak English. The womandoes, and she is the creator of the curry recipe. We offered her $300 for the recipe, but she said no. I don?t blame her. Idon?t believe there is WiFi; I might be wrong because every time I go I?m too busy enjoying the company of my wife and theamazing curry. The customer service is decent. There are only 4-5 tables, so call ahead if you want to make sure you get aseat...they will reserve one for you. And the curry takes about 30-45 mins to prepare, but not if you call ahead. After yourmeal, I recommend trying their mochi ice cream! Read more

Food is good. It's a small restaurant in the market, so it is not an Americanized Thai restaurant. You will get home cook Thai... food. Expected to wait if it's dinner time. Limited seating. Plenty of food to share. Read more
