Terrible service. I came in at 5:40 am after my overnight shift for some fresh glazed donuts (a shipley?s staple). I asked the... server at the counter and she was more than happy to go in the back and grab some that were just glazed. But the baker in theback so no don?t grab those he can have what?s in the tray. I like this place primarily as it is convenient to me (although they close too early for me which is inconvenient). I'm always a... little disappointed with their cake doughnuts as they are not crisp on the outside like they should be for being freshly made.They also seem to lack a little in taste compared to other Shipley shops that I've frequented elsewhere. I don't know forcertain what it is but they are noticeably different ie. = not as good. The people her are always friendly and gracious whichcounts a lot when buying something as "special and necessary" as dougnuts. Read more

It's just a sausage... like the kind you would buy in the freezer section at a grocery with the ingredients in the sausage already. The breading wasdry. Huge disappointment. I was going to give only one star, but gave two stars because the doughnuts are ok. If you want greatdoughnuts, go to Babe's. This place is more of a "doughnuts for the office" kind of place. I really don't know why they have somany 5 star reviews. The quality of the food, service, and establishment are at most 3 starts on a good day. Read more
