Zelick's is always a great experience. My daughter introduced me to this place several years ago. The bartenders are excellent... mixologists, great music, wonderful outdoor ambiance, ample seating with misters and fans everywhere. The place has that uniqueSan Marcos vibe to it. Each Katz brothers establishment is not anything like the other. They always manage to provide good food,good drink, excellent service, and a unique atmosphere. This place is popular. So, you will have to get there early to find agood parking spot. Otherwise there is a parking lot across the street that has good parking spots available after hours or youmay park a block or two up near their sister establishment, North Restaurant. I?ve been to Zelicks many times, and I?ve always enjoyed the atmosphere. My husband and I just moved back to the area and... recently had a baby. It?s a Monday night, at 8 pm, we walk from our house to Zelicks to get a drink after work and enjoy sittingoutside. We were promptly and politely denied entry because we had a child. An 8 month old in a stroller. It?s superdisheartening to see yet again another San Marcos establishment that isn?t family friendly, and only caters to college students.???????? to that. Read more
