Good location for family outtings. Got brisket plate, rib sandwich, and brisket waffle sandwich. Rib sandwich was good. ... Brisket was odd. Worked well in waffle sandwich, but was a bit too moist to stand on its own. Didn't get the Texas brisketexperience. Ended up taking the brisket slices home. Couple days later dragged it out of the fridge. It had dried out to thatTexas standard and the flavor became more pronounced. Weirdly better as take-out. -- Good twist on carnival standards at agood location makes for a good afternoon. Brisket slices worth the wait. Read more
