Good location for family outtings. Got brisket plate, rib sandwich, and brisket waffle sandwich. Rib sandwich was good. ... Brisket was odd. Worked well in waffle sandwich, but was a bit too moist to stand on its own. Didn't get the Texas brisketexperience. Ended up taking the brisket slices home. Couple days later dragged it out of the fridge. It had dried out to thatTexas standard and the flavor became more pronounced. We just left the location in San Marco's. Wasn't the best bbq. I thought it would have been good soul food. My red beans and... rice tasted like it was just white rice cooked in bean juice with sausage. And the brisket had no smokey flavor at all. Read more
