Upon entry, it was obvious this wasn't the cleanist eatery. It's Taco Cabana so I wasn't expecting fancy but they did have some... gnats flying around. The tables that had no patrons at then we're dirty and there was evidence of past customers on the floorbeneath the tables in the form of broken taco shells, cheese and lettuce scattered about. The staff however we're veryfriendly. They welcomed us and took our orders promptly. The wait was about 15 minutes, which I didn't consider to be too longconsidering our order was for 5 of us (two adults 3 children), and the drive through was busy. The food though was the biggestletdown. Lacked flavor all around and was not as hot as I'd have expected for dining in. I ordered a smothered burrito and hedouble crunch pizza. Very bland in comparison to their main competitor. My 8 year old son liked it, he had the cheese enchiladsplate but I know good food and this was not it. I've never been extremely fond of Taco Cabana and this experience reminded mewhy. I'll stear clear next time unless I'm wanting a margarita, then this is the place to go. Read more
Odd that my review was taken down after my Asian wife was cussed out by a manager a few years ago (for using their bathroom and... not sanitizing it). I could put it back up in its entirety. People should know. Corporate should look at what people aresaying. In her time in the United States she has only been treated badly once, it was here. If that conversation was videoedthis place would be closed. It was just ugly. Not representative of Texas or Texans. Do better Take this one down and I willput it back up. People deserve to know. I am so disappointed. The cashier had an attitude when I ask for hot sauce. Then I got home found that my taco were half empty.... Even the extra taco I order was half empty and Meat is cold, I live 2 minutes from the restaurant.I would never recommend thisplace to anyone . I give it 2 thumbs down ???????? Read more
The food was warm not even hot, the fajita taco is not even worth the $4 plus extra for each item added. Normally I only stop... by for their bean tacos, I was better off going else where for some good hot food. Read more
I actually read up on this chain before visiting to see if it was worth the visit. They have a fun back story, especially behind... their use of pink. Outdoor seating available. Indoor seating. Patio seating, too. Food is made fresh in the restaurant. Servicewas fast and friendly. Authentically good Mexican food that's much better than that stuff they serve at Taco Bell. Read more
Food, as always, was great. They do, however, need to bring the salsa bar back and stop worrying about COVID.
