The food was perfect and the service was spectacular. I ordered the Bramble (mocktail) and it was delicious. My friend; who is... a diva, ordered a custom drink called an Aviator and they made it exactly how he wanted. Highly recommend the bramble and getit with the lemonade! This is the place to be!! Our hour wait for a table was spent strolling the strip, shopping around and enjoying the foot... traffic. Once we were sat things just got better. Anika was the loveliest human. Sincere, informative, patient… thank you forbeing the best part of our experience ¨? My friend and I shared a mimosa set up, a veggie frittata, sausage with biscuits andgravy, and a side of avocado toast. Little GEM in San Marcos Texas! Their dishes are sooo delicious ????! High quality meal within budget! Very kid friendly. Waffle... and chicken, the sauce is a sweet and spicy, grilled chicken burger was very light and fresh, kids mac and cheese with freshfruit. Read more
This place was highly rated so we had to give it a shot. The wait was about 30 minutes so we walked around the surrounding... shops. When we were seated the great server let us know they were running behind and in the event our food took a very longtime, she’d make sure we got a free appetizer. At first glance i was super excited with the menu and went for one of thefavorites, the pecan crusted bourbon chicken. My daughter had the chicken and waffles. The food didn’t take as long asanticipated so that was great. I was pretty unimpressed with my choice of the pecan crusted chicken. It tasted a little burntand it just wasn’t what I’d been expecting. The garlic mashed potatoes were great though and helped pull it together. Mydaughter loved her plate sized waffle and chicken though! Overall great understanding staff. 2 words: complete trash. I don’t know how this place is so highly rated. In terms of food quality, expect food on par with... prepackaged hot foods you would find at a grocery store. I’m not even sure if anything was cooked in house. I’m fairlycertain the hummus is simply store bought hummus, served along store bought slices of pita bread that has been microwaved. Thebourbon pecan chicken had a sickly sweet bourbon sauce that did not taste good at all. Boxed mac snd cheese? Not sure but thesauce was pretty processed. Finally, the pasta was undercooked and not even salted properly. TLDR; a great place to eat amicrowaved meal in a dingy basement. Read more
Great spot for good meal, the place itself is cute and quaint, a homely vibe. Service is great, it takes a while to get your... food, but it is understandable given the circumstances of what’s going on presently in the service industry. The pesto pastais fantastic. Food was pretty and service was great but had to subtract one star for 2 reasons. First of all, we waited an hour for our food... to come out and when it finally did it was somewhat cold which was pretty disappointing. I got the Rae sandwich and it made it alittle soggy and did not taste like it came fresh out of the kitchen. Really cute vibe and restaurant though. Read more
We waited for more than an hour to be seated and when we did get seated we ordered quickly so that maybe we would get our food... sooner . Well it didn’t happen like that. I ordered this that it was $14.99 . I got those 4 pieces of potatoes and they wereextremely fried. My husband ordered the same it was not that great we ate because we were very hungry. My daughter ordered therye sandwich the bread was burnt from both sides we told the waitress and she said sorry . My son ordered the biscuits and gravyand it was a small portion for the price. Our total bill was $86.00 and kids were still hungry . First and last time we will beeating here . At least now we know. Read more
