We rarely go to Filipino restaurants because we cook our own dishes at home. Hubby has been craving some crispy Pata and this... place delivered! We ordered the prawn appetizer, kare kare, pancit bihon and had halo halo for dessert. The food was flavorful, nicely presented... and the meat tender. I would definitely go there again for good Filipino food. Service was very friendly but slow because therewas only one server at lunchtime. Initially there was a mix-up when our table was served the mushroom appetizer instead of theprawns, but they ended up giving us the mushrooms on the house. Read more
1. Service was ok. Great presentation. Waitress was polite but not very attentive. 2. Food was ok, but not like many review... said, amazing or stunning. The fried pork belly does taste good, but the pork knuckle was just mediocre, it was just like aregular German schweinshaxe. Nothing very impressive. 3. Their way of getting tips made me not comfortable at all. The precalculated tip was based on price after tax and fees. Crispy... pata (pork): 4/5 I am not a usually a fan of pork but the crispy skin was solid. Although I think those who are expecting fattypork belly might find it a little dry. Tender Jumbo squid: 4/5 The ingredients are high quality. The dipping sauce is simplebut good. Stir-fried thin rice noodles: 4/5 I personally enjoyed the dish. It reminds me of some homemade flavors. Dessert: wehad the Halo Halo which seems like shaved ice with Filipino toppings. It is beautiful. But the toppings are a bit too sweet forme. Overall I enjoyed this meal. If you come here for the first time, it's an exciting experience. Very interesting dishes and taste aren't bad at all. I'm my... situation, I came 2 weeks in a row and started to notice something: The menu is small and the foods aren't as Impressive thanthe first time I came with many the same dishes we ordered a week ago because of lack of choices. Grilled Squid - must try! Sogood! Fried pork knuckles - must try! The pork belly - It's more like roasted, fry or grill. I liked it personally. Chickenskewers - Not bad. Adobo Rice - Not crazy about it. I like Chinese or Japanese fried rice better. I think I'll enjoy cominghere once in a while. Unlike ramen and pho, I can have it multiple times a week. Read more
