Highly NOT recommended. 1. The store owner is a very rude, uncivilized person, who treats customers including regular customers... very bad. He uses swear words to humiliate and scold customers, who pay by credit card, instead of cash. He treats customers norespect. 2. The food quality is going down dramatically. Chicken and beef are not tasteful and even tastes bad compared to oneyear ago. 3. Do NOT take review comments which were written more than one year ago. The restaurant has changed a lot on both itsfood quality and service. Read more

Very delicious food. We had their chicken in spicy garlic sauce, beef brisket dry pot, vegetable noodles and chicken fried rice.... Everything was amazing and good level of spicy. Verbally confirmed halal. Read more

This restaurant never let me down. I’ve been here several times, the dishes do taste like traditional Chinese Sichuan taste.

Don’t recommend this place at all. I would gave zero star if I could. Unprofessional family style business. Terrible service.... Forgot our order for over half hour, even people came after us got their order. First time we asked one of the server, and helooked so annoyed by us and said the order would come out soon. After another 15 mins waiting we checked with a different serverand apparently they totally forgot our order. One of the waitress offered two complimentary lamb skewers. While we were waitingwe saw them gave order to wrong table, and tried to correct if by just transferring already served food from wrong table to theright one. No one ever refilled our empty water pitcher. Nasty atmosphere. Sticky table dirty plates. One of the waiter when hewas running foods out he left the tray on an unbussed dirty table. Hand soup in bathroom is diluted with lots of water. Wedivided the check. One party left $10 tip for the complimentary lamb skewers and the other party left $0 for the terribleexperience. The server complained to us with grumpy look and asked us if the service was bad? Bad service? No it was not badservice it was no service at all!!!!!! Overall, don’t recommend unless you have plenty time to waste. Read more

Really under rated restaurant. The hot pot is not as good as happy lamb, but the entrees we got (Frogs, noodles, fried chicken)... were all very good. Also a good halal option as the owners are Muslim (I am told) Read more

Didn't expect to find such an authentic Chinese food (Sichuan food) in San Mateo!! Very good portion with decent price. The duck... blood is very fresh. Dish on the left: spicy duck blood. On the right: lamb chop in clay pot Read more

Came here on a Saturday night, there were not that many people and no need to wait. The restaurant is clean and very big. The... most outstanding here is their service. We didn’t decide what to order and the waiter approached proactively. He was verypatient and explained every single options they have. We ordered this we saw chicken, the rib, the tofu, lamb dumplings, lambscrewed and the frog. Everything was very palatable and delicious, and the lamb rib with fries was fantastic. Highlyrecommend!!
