For some reason they serve their veggie sandwhich hot. Strange choice. A sign stating this might have helped. They dont carry... sprouts either, and the avocado wasnt very generous. These arent people who understand how to make a good veggie sandwhich. Read more

I could talk about the service, or the various amazing sandwich options, or their proximity to San Mateo and walkable status.... All of these things are great about Ike's. But I won't talk about that. I want to talk about feelings. That feeling of drivingover the speed limit for the first time. Witnessing a baby seagull steal a piece of trash. Flipping the tongue of your shoe soit's flat against your foot after walking with it all folded wrong for a bit. These all pale in comparison to the emotional rideyou're in for when the Matt Cain sandwich from Ike's slams into your tongue. The highs. The lows. Actually there aren't lows.It's all highs.
