For some reason they serve their veggie sandwhich hot. Strange choice. A sign stating this might have helped. They dont carry... sprouts either, and the avocado wasnt very generous. These arent people who understand how to make a good veggie sandwhich. Read more

I could talk about the service, or the various amazing sandwich options, or their proximity to San Mateo and walkable status.... All of these things are great about Ike's. But I won't talk about that. I want to talk about feelings. That feeling of drivingover the speed limit for the first time. Witnessing a baby seagull steal a piece of trash. Flipping the tongue of your shoe soit's flat against your foot after walking with it all folded wrong for a bit. These all pale in comparison to the emotional rideyou're in for when the Matt Cain sandwich from Ike's slams into your tongue. The highs. The lows. Actually there aren't lows.It's all highs. Great sandwich options, menu has something for everyone. Super hard working, friendly staff. But their ultra busy so recommend... ordering ahead and putting in your needed time a little bit earlier. Also the parking lot in this little shopping center ispretty dang tight, would be helpful to have a second person in the car with you to hop out and grab your sandwiches that are atleast worth the challenges! Honestly, YUM! This was one of the BEST sandwich places I've ever eaten... there's Just SO MUCH to choose from!! First time was awesome! The sandwhich was so bomb and yummy and they carried my Favorite drink and chips there which paired... great. Favorite new sandwich spot that I'm glad my dude took me to. I can't eat meat and i was pleased that they had so manydifferent options. Even if it came with meat, on the menu it says just ask them and they can rearrange it but the vegan optionsthey had was enough for me.
