The food was really good and our server Matt was amazing . But I guess he left and the two girls left at the counter we?re... basically running around like a chicken with their head cut off . My husband asked for a box and we waited 10 min , no box so Iask and another 10 min . I finally was able to ask a guy from the kitchen for a box and I got it . We then waited even longerfor the bill and it never came . We honestly could have left without paying and the girls would?ve never noticed . I get up andstand in line so we can pay even though we were told the bill would come to the table but I didn?t feel like waiting another 20min for you to take my money , the girl we asked previously for the boxes thought we were in line to ask for boxes and I saidno we got our boxes from a guy but we haven?t paid and haven?t even got our bill. Amazing food and service. We were here after a cruise and not sure where to eat. We lucked out and hit happy hour. Pizza, wings,... sliders (a meal in themselves), wine... It was all fantastic. If we lived here this would definitely be a go-to place. Read more
We were hoping to find delicious food at this restaurant. However, it was very dissapointing. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo,... soaked in oil. We also got Cannelloni which was slightly better but nothing remarkable. Garlic bread super dry. Old bread. Nogarlic flavour. Dessert portions very tiny for the price. Such good pizza! Service was great thanks to our server Samantha. She really made a difference tonight. I hope she gets a raise.... And when I tried to slip her a $10 discretely she was very honest and said she had to split it with her cooks. The kitchen madea tinsy error so I wanted to make sure she got to keep it all but she refused. So not only was she very sweet but shes an honestperson. Its nice to run into good people at dinner. And...Here we go...This place has a reputation for some good pizza so we had to check it out. The man at the counter was OG. ... He had been with Buonos for a while. In fact; Buonos used to be on Gaffey in some run down hole in the wall building whichwasn't much to speak of but it had since moved to it's new location which was quite nice. We decided to go with a favorite ofours. We ordered a medium pepperoni, mushroom and bell pepper pizza with a side salad with a couple drinks. Let's talkservice; We met a nice young lady who told had worked at the previous location and preferred this one, as did we but she didtell us about the other 2 locations they had in Long Beach which one of them is still operated in some dilapidated olderbuilding which lends itself the the authenticity of their legacy. We talked a bit and found her to be quite pleasant and agreat asset to this place. She was very accommodating with a friendly demeanor. Anyhow; We took a seat in their outside diningarea and without much time elapsing a young man brings out a Bruschetta and places it on our table. We didn't order this fromthem but I didn't want to turn this away since it looked so good. My girlfriend has better morals than I and felt it necessaryto mention that we did not order this, only to find out that this comes complimentary with all dine in meals. Score! It wasvery good. (See pics). We took this thing down in mere minutes. The pizza had arrived shortly thereafter and it looked good. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza crust was golden brown and crispy. Good job. There is an abundance of cheesy goodnesson this pie. The taste? Yeah..it is good. Is it the best I have ever had? No...but it is a good pizza none the less. Oursalad arrived shortly after this and it looked very fresh. They take pride in their product and it goes to show. I googled a lot of restaurants in Little Italy and decided to go with Buono's Pizzeria. It's in the corner street so its big... glass windows works in creating a lovely ambiance overlooking the roads. Went here for an early dinner at around 5am. The foodis sublime with more than enough servings for one person. The cheese sticks is definitely a must for appetizers. The total billwas a bit pricey, but hey my date and I enjoyed so that's what matters in the end. Read more
Stopped in my favorite pizza spot today for their holiday Pizza Bianca. I could not be happier with that decision. This pizza... is it! Creamy ricotta cheese with Italian ham! Downside is I ate it all! The patio is great. Feels like your on vacation! Read more
