Well, for 90 minutes before close, with only 3 tables to tend, service was above average. But that's where the positives end. I... never thought there would be a diner franchise I'd want to avoid more than Denny's. They got my order wrong twice and the foodwas subpar. The only good thing were the signature hot sauces. If it weren't for them, I might have eaten less than half of mymeal. And let's be real, you guys do not have a menu that is conducive to being open until 9 or 10pm. We were in the area, tired and needed some food. The waitress was very nice but the place looks a little old and run down. My... son and I ordered the tri tip steak and my wife ordered a chicken club sandwich. The sandwich was ok and came with a ton offries. We asked for the steak to be medium but it's thinly sliced so came overcooked and extremely dry. Steak sauce was needed.Our waitress forgot our corn muffins which we didn't realize until we finished eating. Dessert was good. We had brownie sundaes.Overall typical chain food (like a Denny's/Friendly's from out east). Least enjoyable meal while staying in San Rafael for aweek. Read more
