Well the cocktail program seems pretty good. they definitely have reasonable at least decent service. and will the gentleman... working the door was absolutely amazing and just so welcoming and friendly and just the epitome of a wonderful service actually.however really nothing other than those points really stood out about this place it was 97% white people 3% others and just kindof blah blah blah. California Gold has an urban San Francisco vibe unmatched in Marin. They focus on high quality, creative cocktails with fresh,... homemade ingredients and great service. We tried their Pina Colada and Moscow mule and found them to be the best we had evertasted. The service was great and our bartender Joel couldn't have been more attentive or helpful. Read more
Manuel is literally the best bartender we?ve ever had. He made us amazing drinks with flair and gave us testers of other drinks.... Highly recommend this bar. The vibe is eclectic Californian, reminded me a little of a Victorian California mansion, with allsorts of fun old California art all over. The menu was exceptional with delicious drinks. The drinks are a work of art, withpreparation done with high attention to detail. The bar had several top shelf bourbons, which made it all the more better. Read more
very good and cool!! The aesthetic is immaculate and the polo cup is genuinely like the best drink I ever done got drunk offa.... Also they allow outside food and the mini market next door is wonderful for having very cheap, hot, good food super late.They're not on Google maps but ????? for them too. California Gold feels quaint even when busy with elevated cocktails and local charm. Worth the visit. Christian the bartender... took the time to remember my name and drink order with a fully seated bar; I had fast & exceptional service. Great place for anafter work cocktail or an evening out with a partner or friends. Highly recommend the "El Diablo" for a balanced medley with a atiny flare of spice to excite the palate. Read more
We came for golden hour which was $9 cocktails and $1 off some beers. Service was great! Friendly and attentive staff was just... what we were looking for. The decor is great, the bar stands out more than the photos do justice. The booths are nice too, havethat old school vibe. Good place for date night as you can have some privacy in the booth and it's not noisy. The food is fromacross the street at Revel and Roost. Hope to make this our regular place! Read more
