I had a bad experience at Celias tonight with the bar tender, I paid my bill of $150 dollars and left him a two dollars tip... which I only had left in my wallet. He got upset with that and shouted, "I don't take alms from anybody." and asked me to takemy two dollars and he was very upset. I feel like that was very disrespectful and don't realize that I am helping the economy ofthe restaurant by consuming there and I don't feel appreciated as a customer when people behave like this because I didn't haveenough money to tip him. Best food I have Ever had.. I go to this place on a weekly basis???? love the atmosphere. The food is very very tasty and fresh... all the time. So I started by reading all the bad reviews first, but as I'm working out of town and this place was walking distance from the... hotel I cane with lowered expectations. But whenever I come back out for work I will be stopping by. This is by far the bestfood I have had in a long time. I don't even know what I had I just asked the server what he liked. Very nice authentic Mexican restaurant in San Rafael. Good combination of dishes with lunch and ala carte items makes this ideal... for you to choose whatever your heart and stomach desire. Very friendly staff that explain well once they know your dietaryneeds. The dishes are very tasty and as advertised. A bit pricey side for the dishes but overall, I am glad to stop by thisplace.
