Went for lunch today and can readily say that this is one of the best Mexican Restaurants in the North Bay. Started with a... delicious mango Margarita ....I had a delicious plate of shrimp enchiladas covered in pineapple mole sauce while my husband hada delectable chicken Chile Relleno....all meals came with cilantro rice and tasty beans. They are known for their molesauces...and if you really want a treat...go for their Sunday brunch...all you can eat!! Read more
Best mole place I've been to in the US. Even better that it buffet style! HIGHLY recommend. Will definitely be going back.
The weekend brunch buffet was a great experience, mainly because the food was tasty????! The value is exceptional for the... buffett option. They also have a regular menu if you don't feel like gorging. Also, regular menu has options not in thebuffett, such as shrimp or cerviche. It was our first time there, and we enjoyed the buffett. They feature ~8 moles, where Itried about 5 of them. I enjoyed the mango and the elena flavors. The buffett also includes fried plantains, sweet chips,pazole, menudo, Mexican rice or pablano rice ????, salsas, etc. I enjoyed the cinnamon-flavored coffee ? and tea????....theywere delicious! The pork ???? pibil, and birria chicken ???? we're really good ???? They have two other locations, addefinitely going to plan to visit those locations as well. Tortilla chips were very good quality, but the salsa verde and regular salsa did not taste fresh at all. Had burrito with... carnitas, guacamole, cheese, rice, beans and salsa. The burrito was good, but not great, could have used more meat and lessrice/beans. The service was excellent, really on top it so I didn't need to ask for anything. The food we got was delicious and the service was friendly. The only thing is that the restrooms did have a sewage smell that... was terrible. The surrounding area did have a lot of transient people. Not sure how safe it would be at nighttime. Read more
We were a bit hesitant at first a d I can't exactly try tell you why. May e because itookrd a little to tex mex and not more... ricos. What a nice surprise although I still consider it tex me the food and drinks were excellent. Service was much h betterthan acceptable and the ambience out on the sidewalk was perfect we really enjoyed and I highly endorse so chek them out.Please like this I hate to ask but that's what Google wants. I had dinner here after a long hike. They carry all sorts of molé, a special Mexican cuisine dish. It’s a must try if you... haven’t. I must say I’ll be coming back. Their agua frescas were refreshing, salsa on point and guac n chips were fairlyproportionate. They have a cute tiny #patiodining worth sitting at and service was superb. Is like getting scammed in person!! Read this out. We’re not against “tipping” or it’s not that we’re not happy with... the food, it’s more about what ruined it for us on the service part of our experience at this restaurant. So be aware! Ourserver made $23 for serving 4 meals and bringing us 3 waters, 5 juices and two of their little baskets of tortillas. That’sit. Our bill got added a 20% “large party” tip. 4 kids, 2 adults. 1 adult purchase a buffet so all he brought was the drinkand the tortillas. The way he did it was “sneaky”, never allowed us to revise our “bill”, just came to the table andasked cash or card. I asked why the amount and he said there was an 18% tip included, NOT 20%. He said 18%. I tried to do themath in my head and I was a bit surprised it was higher but I paid with my phone. Asked for a paper receipt and bam! Surprisesurprise. Because of experiences like this one is what ruins it for people. What should’ve been a family brunch at a veryunique restaurant, nice atmosphere turned out to leave us a bad taste for the way their business transaction was handled.Because that what customers are, business transactions. The serving part did not deserve $23 in tips. Specially when it was doneit a way that was not transparent. It completely took away the highlight on their food, etc. Read more
