Good crusty sour dough bread, excellent coffee, and the main courses are tasty enough. If this was a local venue, I'd go there... on a regular basis. Four stars on a relative basis to standard Italian restaurants, at reasonable price points. Perhaps anotch below Il Davide, and far below Picco's, but enjoyable enough. Read more
Just visited this place for the first time with my friend. We both loved it! My friend got the Pappardelle Al Cinghiale and I... got the spinach and cheese ravioli with a brown butter and sage sauce. Absolutely amazing flavor in both our dishes. I got thefeeling anything at this place is good. Parking is limited so, going early is a good idea. This place is very popular with regulars. There is a tiny parking lot adjacent but it was completely full. We had to park about... 2 blocks away on a dimly lit street. This is not a good neighborhood and it was a bit scary. The atmosphere was nice but thenoise was so loud you could not speak without yelling. We were there on a Friday night. Reservations were for 6:30pm and we wereseated at 7:05pm. Our waiter was great but there was lack of back up service like bringing us water or drinks. We ordered thespecial which was Salman over Lemon Risotto and Arugula salad on top. The flavors were wonderful but the Risotto was roomtemperature. This was my first experience here and I have mixed feelings. I would definitely go back and try it again! Read more
I've been trying to get here for 2 years ! We got a place in Napa in December 2020 and we stay in the Southbay during the week.... So for nearly 2 years we drive by this restaurant most weekends and I keep saying we will stop here for dinner. Well it finallyhappened ! We came 1 day before Thanksgiving and the restaurant was crowded but they managed to find us a small table. Weordered Melanzane and Chicken Parmigiana, drinks and we also had a cup of soup that was delicious. We were pleased with theentrees, drinks, staff and the atmosphere.
