The food was absolutely amazing. The mushroom risotto was among one of the best dishes I have ever had. I would definitely... recommend this restaurant for romantic evenings, the ambience is beautiful. We sat inside by the window. Would love to go again. Read more

Sad to give a bad review to a restaurant in my neighborhood. Just like other people pointed out, the manager/host/owner or... whatever position she has at the restaurant - is very arrogant. This is the kid of person who shouldn’t work in servicebecause she has no empathy or talent to deal with people. Please, change industries or get better training. As long as I live inSan Rafael, I will never go to your restaurant or recommend it to anyone. Read more

Delicious food prepared with great care, fresh ingredients and creativity. Comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, helpful staff.... A lot of deliciously prepared polenta in their dishes. Not an extensive menu but great options that include sea food and aspecial of the day. All very nice. Read more

Good food and rude, pompous host staff. My girlfriend made the reservation here. I had never been, but it had been a long... Friday and so I grabbed coffee on the way. I showed up with the cup, expecting to quickly kill the coffee and get to dinner. Weshowed up a little early, and were told we could have a seat at the bar once space cleared up. I pointed to empty bar-lookingseats and asked a clarifying question "you mean there?". Hostess with a condensing tone: "No those are assigned. That's thechef's table." Ok, cool whatever, I just wanted to sit down. The bar clears and we sit down. I kill my coffee and say "I shouldhave tossed this outside" to my girlfriend as I look for a way to discard it. The hostess walks up and, before I could ask/sayanything, says " Can I throw this out? I mean, we are a restaurant." I was shocked. Sure lady take my cup and leave mealone. Later I moved over a seat so some couple, who this lady clearly knew, could sit down and she gave me a surprisedsounding "well that was nice". Again, leave me alone and do my job. For some reason my girlfriend wasn't willing to just gosomewhere else, but the way the hostess treated me/us soured the evening. The wine was decent, the filet mignon exquisite, butI'll never to go here again. Edit: apparently this person is the manager, per other reviews. Read more

My husband and I decided to try out Vin Antico’s Thanksgiving menu this year. It was the best decision, we avoided the crowds... at the supermarket, hours of cooking and virtually no clean up. Having never been to this restaurant before it was a bit of agamble but we were reassured by all the great reviews. The experience turned out to be better than expected! The staff was sofriendly and helpful, we picked the meal up the day before all in ready to heat packaging with clear instructions. It was trulyhe most delicious thanksgiving dinner and certainly pleasant escape from the stress of this year. We are definitely going to dothis again next year and I highly encourage you all to do the same! Read more

Amazing cocktails, wine menu, top notch food. I love sitting at the bar by the open kitchen but it’s also a lovely, intimate... setting for a date or a quiet conversation with your best friend. Read more
