This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff is very friendly. The menu options are extensive. This was our first time trying this sandwich shop. The pictures online looked great and the reviews were good. Sadly we were... disappointed. We stood in front of the counter for a good 10 minutes before we were helped. They said hello but he was busytraining someone so we had to wait until he was done explaining something. We ordered the Avocado bacon sandwich, at the lastminute adding turkey. When we received our order 15 minutes later (no one was in there but us) we couldn?t determine which wasthe avocado one because there was a ton of lettuce and 1 sliver of a rock hard avocado slice on each sandwich. If it?s anavocado sandwich shouldn?t it have mainly avocado in it and not be a lettuce sandwich? Disappointing. Read more
The sandwich tasted good enough but the sourdough bread is sort of hard and chewy which is both exhausting for the jaw and also... annoying when you bite down and all the insides of the sandwich squirt out the sides. I would try the white bread but it lookslike that is just regular old sliced bread which is less than exciting. I want to like this place cause everyone seems nice butI wish they had more/different bread options. Read more
Tried this place for the first time today and overall it was very pleasant experience. People working there were super friendly... and nice. 4 sandwiches took them just few minutes to cook. Only con was Godfather sandwich - too salty! Around all of what wegot I loved most of all my Turkey melt with pesto. Price is reasonable. Sandwiches are really huge. Good late weekendbreakfast! Went in after the name kept popping up in my list of restaurants I might like. It is literally 5 minutes from my house, I was... hungry, and the sandwiches sounded incredible, so I decided to try it. I was also going to see my parents; so I decided to orderstuff for them too. I was greeted warmly by an older man. I told him it was my first time there, so he told me to take my time.I confusingly ordered two Godfathers and a Turkey Wrap, and he happily just rolled with it. He then said that since it was myfirst time in, he was giving me two Chocolate Chip cookies. Well, I was really excited, because they looked amazing! Not toolong after, I received my order and left, anticipating diving in to The Godfather and a cookie. After driving to my parent'shouse, I opened the bag and noticed two things: 1) the 2 Godfathers, one with oil, one without; were not noted. So I didn't knowwhich was which. (Turns out it didn't matter, bc you couldn't tell). And 2) No Cookies! Bummer! Anyway, the sandwiches werepretty good. Not enough of the prosciutto, ham, mortadella or provolone. I asked for no mustard, but got it anyway and they werejust ok. But for $9+ dollars each, I expected more. I must say though, that the Sourdough rolls were EXCELLENT! I willdefinitely try again though. They just opened and haven't gotten into their groove yet and probably didn't expect so manycustomers. I recommend trying them, in a week or so. Read more
Indifferent. I made my own sandwich. Ingredients are fresh, but they could have added more. The pictures look very full and mine... was mostly bread. Got a wheat roll and it felt very thick but soft and chewable. I personally do not like chopped lettuce in mysandwich (burgers). Chips were $1.75 could do a combo to your sandwich for $3.55(?) To get chip and soda. I like making my ownsandwich because its the things I like and would enjoy, but I didnt care for my sandwich. It was simple, but I tasted bread mostbites. Looking to try a hot sandwich next. Staff is nice and efficient. Read more
Gotta give props to anyone who dares to spend their precious resources upping the beauty of our community; I mean food safety... and taste come first but come on...this place is ridiculous :) feels like Frisco luxury penthouse nice; thus far staff is superfriendly, price was very reasonable, and they served a mean sandwich on top of it. I think I love it. Came back 3 more timesto check mark the consistency off my list; then it was time to order for the rest of my crew. My business is in Castro Valleybut the management at Sandwicheez were kind enough to deliver their catering services which went across to my staff very well ata 15 person luncheon. They got all the orders right ! they were on time !!! how often does that happen? we normally do not havesuch luck. We will be back. Let's support our local businesses regularly if we can; these folks look like they are puttingeverything into it and doing it right. Read more
