Upon coming to this establishment we weren’t greeted very well. We were lied to the wine was fine the person did know about... the wine but the experience was awful. Three in our party one of us didn’t drink. Only asked for water. Server brings out 3glasses of wine 3 bottles of water. Upon hearing again that one will not be tasting wine the server takes back 1 bottle of wateraway as she goes to get the next wines to taste. I asked for the water bottle back when she returned. Now she’s out ofwater. Yeah right. If your not a member you can’t try the wines you’d prefer but if your a member you can try anything underthe sun. Question? Do you want repeat business? Or maybe you don’t! Incredible that’s not a very good way to keep youbusiness afloat. Good luck. You’re going to need it. Read more

Great wine tasting service today during Fall 2022 release wine pick up. Weather is gorgeous. They have upgraded their patio... areas that overlook the ocean. Food truck was amazing. Read more

Very disappointed. We had reservations and when we arrived there was a mix up and we were forced to move tables. Our server... (never introduced himself) was not friendly and took a very long time to pour tastings. It was a Saturday and outside foodwasn’t allowed since they had a catering truck, The Cruiser. Terrible service as well. We ordered food from them immediatelyand were told it would be 35 minutes. Our food arrived 70 minutes later! We only ordered (3) items! The server was VERY rude anddidn’t try to improve the situation or apologize for the delay. We like to support local food trucks, just not when it takes70 minutes to get food. By the time our food arrived, we were told by our server that we had to leave the table because anotherreservation had arrived. We explained the situation about the food and we’re directed inside the winery. Overall very poorexperience/customer service. We will NEVER visit this place again nor will we support The Cruiser. We will not recommend thisplace to anyone. So disappointed with the experience since the view is spectacular. Read more

Special atmosphere, light and memorable wine! Would recommend it as a mandatory stop on the coast without hesitation

Beautiful view a great wine! Members with reservations get first choice at beach side tables but if it's not a busy day, you can... get a great table with a view without reservations. There's two tasting options, Legacy and Reserve, $25 and $45 respectively. My wife and I got one of each and shared so that we got to try multiple wines instead of just the 4. Although in addition thestaff was very friendly and gave us multiple additional pours. Overall a wonderful experience and very reasonable for what youget. Depending on the weather it could get a little chilly outside so bring layers. Another great experience with excellentcustomer service. We had to wait about 10 minutes after our reservation time to get our table but our server more than made upfor it! Read more

It was a delicious great time at Hearst Ranch Winery. ????????? The tasting room has moved across the way from Sebastian's... General Store as it (and the kitchen, so no Hearst Ranch Burgers right now ?????) is being renovated. The new/interim tastingroom is jaw-drop amazing, though. Currently outside as picnic tables with breath-taking views of San Simeon beach. The wineryoffered 2 different flight tastings on the day I was there - the Legacy $25 (waived with a $60 purchase) and the Proprieter'sReserve $45 (waived with a $90 purchase). I went with the PR because I was going to purchase bottles and spent enough to waivethe fee. IMHO, the Legacy flight tasting is more palatable to me... and it costs less. It wasn't on the menu, but ask to checkout the GSM (grenache, syrah, mouvedre). So delicious! Reservations are required, and they have food trucks on property Thursdaythrough Sunday. Monday - Wednesday you can bring your own picnic ??????????????????? or purchase packaged charcuterie offeringsin the store. The staff was friendly and warmly hospitable. I was grateful for the spaciousness, fresh air, the ocean, deliciouswine & nibbles. I wasn't even bothered by the occasional fly... I just kept the food covered up. The property transports me toanother time. This was truly a delightful tasting experience. ??????????????? Read more
