Ordered catering here last week for my fiancée's birthday. The food was amazing and everyone kept eating all night. I worried I... had ordered too much and I'm so glad we did because everyone kept snacking. They all complimented the food. Great food, decent prices. They do have a tendency to close early without notice. We got there at one night well before closing... and they told us they hadn't been busy so they were closing early. It took us over a year to go back after that. Read more
Good place for good Mexican food! I had the steak and shrimp fajitas and they were so good! Cooked just the way I like them!... Service was fast and friendly. My ONLY negative was the staff were being very loud and screaming at each other and laughingloudly. Im glad they're happy, really! The wait is outrageous the food good but not great. I wouldn't go out of my way for this food. It's very busy hard to get... refills and your order in quickly. Decided to give Moreno's a shot since we were in the mood for Mexican food and also had to do some grocery shopping (Fry's is... right next door). THE GOOD: The food is actually good. We ordered the Moreno Burrito, a Chile Relleno and a Sonoran Style HotDog. All of these were on point. The burrito included the Mixta (pork/asada) which had good flavor and just the right amountveggies mixed in. No complaints on the Relleno. The Sonoran Dog was real good with a lot of flavors and fixins dressed on top.Would definitely order these again. THE BAD: The place is busy and it appears they are short staffed. We were told they onlyhad a small table outside so we took it - bad choice. We never received the complimentary chips and salsa until we asked about20-30 mins later. We never got offered refills on our sodas and our food took forever to come out. It was like we were secondclass customers looking thru the window watching everybody else getting served and waited on so my recommendation is DO NOT SITOUTSIDE or you will be forgotten about. The restaurant is awkwardly laid out with booths and tables that are immediately placednear the entrance, so you feel a little lost walking in wondering where to go. This should be updated andrearranged. OVERALL: I would not eat here again, I would order delivery, unless we got to sit inside. Then we would eat ourfood and point at the peasants outside.
