We needed a room for a single night for a wedding and found this cute inn. Checking in was super easy, they brought us right to... our room. Honestly we wished we had an additional night booked so we could try the dinner. Breakfast comes with a stay but wewere pressed for time in the morning so we couldn't stay for it but it would have been nice. We had the Tibbet room, had our ownbathroom and the Keurig was a wonderful touch for the morning. It was a chilly night so we turned the heat on and were comfy allnight. I love that there wasn't a TV in the room but wifi was available if needed. If we need to stay in that area again we'lldef be coming back!! Read more

I have lived in and loved Wakefield for 11 years... I have known the owners for almost that long - our children grew up... together... They care, about so many things, but there is no doubt that they care, very much, about their community and thedining experience they have at the Wakefield Inn! We had a great experience with the Wakefield inn for our wedding on 8/7/21. We had the rehearsal dinner there and they let us... (bride and bridesmaids) use their common room upstairs the next day to get ready. First off the food was SO GOOD. I live in thearea and have always driven by, never thinking to stop in but i'm so glad we discovered them. Hands down the best food in thearea, and very affordable. The service was great; everybody was so kind and friendly and kept up with our 40 person partywithout a hitch. The inn itself is cute and cozy and once again, the staff working were wonderful. Everything is clean there yethas a very homey feel. Soft towels, soft beds, beautiful decor, charming porch and backyard area, everything about it isadorable. thank you for a great experience :) We will be back for dinner soon! Read more

I'm so happy to provide an excellent review from my stay this past weekend, 8/6/21. Aside from being very clean and having large... bedrooms ... all that ... this was like spending a night at my sister's. The owners are very genuinely warm, nice, accommodatingpeople. I was able to stay almost 4 hrs after checkout time on Sat. Everything has a very relaxed, 'Yup, that's fine" kind offeel. Neat history to the house, good food, a huge omelet. Been a long time away from B&B staying. Standard hotel stuff. A staylike this is a much nicer thing to do for myself travelling. I'll need to look for reviews like the Wakefield.
