Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at El Nopal. This past Saturday we wanted to try a New Mexican place. After... ordering the waitress said if we made our order online we could save 10%. So I got online and attempt to order the same thing Ihad already told the waitress. We ordered steak and chicken fajitas mixed. However, on their website to order when youselect “Mixed Fajitas” there is no place to place that you don’t want shrimp accept in comments. So I pull up theFajitas, and there is no option to choose which meat, so I stated in the notes that we wanted steak and chicken fajitas. Then weordered a wet burrito, a quesadilla no sour cream or pico, and 2 sides of rice. When we received the order, I found 2 errors. 1) there was only one side of rice. According to waitress they placed both sides into one container. Even though I found itodd to put two different peoples food in the same container, no big deal, I can separate that at home. #2 the fajitas were onlysteak. So waitress goes and asks manager/owner about it. He said it wasn’t mentioned on the slip that we wanted mixed. Iexplained to waitress not only did I tell her, that I also placed it in the notes. She went back and then told us manager saidthat he did not print the notes, but that we should have selected mixed fajitas. I showed the waitress on their site there isno way to select any meats or to de select seafood. Since we have a seafood allergy in the home we did not select the mixed. Ialso advised that he must’ve printed the notes because they got the note to put no sour cream or pico on the quesadilla. Waitress goes back to manager/owner and he said he can give us chicken too but it will cost us an additional$7.99. I asked whywould it cost us another 8 bucks if on the menu the price difference between regular and mixed fajita is only $2.00. She said wewould have to buy the complete regular plate again. I advised that I wanted to speak to the manager. His first e Read more

The place was clean, the people were very friendly and attentive. Their bean burrito was good, I liked their chips even though... they tasted like they were mixed in with stale chips. Their salsa was very watery, and not much taste, so I asked for somethingspicier and wow, it wasn't, but they charged me for a tiny amount to try! Read more

Fresh made food that wasn't covered or soaked in grease. It lacked any real spices, but it still had an excellent taste and was... made very well. Definitely a hidden gem that I kept passing by judging the exterior! Read more

At first sight from the outside of the building one might just keep driving due to its appearance. A bit run down and decor... must have been a second thought. But if you drive right by you would be missing out on a nice clean simple Latin/Mexican cuisineexperience. We received a generous portion of homemade fresh and warm chips with some delicious salsa. I'd recommend away fromthe nachos if you not care for what tasted and looked like Velveeta, because they were covered in it making them almostimpossible to eat. Yuck! Couldn't taste the meat or other toppings. Street tacos were wonderful and so was the enchiladas. Lovedthe drink options as well. But let's talk about the fast and prompt service. This young woman was awesome. She was sweet andkind and we hardly turned our heads before our food was on our table all while she ran the register and took orders from othersboth staying and to go. I will be back, just not for the nachos. Read more

The food is amazing and the service is excellent. Best Mexican food and one of the best restaurants in Sand Springs. Ignore... negative reviews, those people probably think El Chico's is good food. Read more

Great local restaurant. They are smaller, so if you're going on Street Taco Tuesday ($1 Street Tacos) be patient! Salsa was... good. Queso was good. Street tacos were great! Small selection of bottled beer. Friendly staff, will definitely be back to thisplace. Read more
