I told my two brothers about the bistro in Sandon and they didn?t believe me. So we went over last week and had the best coffee... and wrap. They could not believe that in a ghost town there was such a great place to enjoy a breakfast or lunch. The gift shopis a must see as well as the museum. Great job Veda on making your bistro rock. Fantastic food cleanest little shop around up to code building with food safe and business license within view. The options are... great for ice cream with or with out toppings. The menu is equal to a five star restaurant and has many meatless options. Cashor credit is available and the coffee is sourced from local beaneries. I have to say for such a small little place, she really puts a lot of passion into her meals. I had the breakfast sandwich... (there?s an all day breakfast menu) with fried potatoes. Got more potatoes than I thought I was going to get, and the breakfastsandwich was absolutely perfect in flavour, size and temperature with Sustainable packaging - Paper food container with woodutensils. My partner got the roast chicken wrap off their lunch menu and the chicken was great. We had a chat with her and Ithink she had said that it was slow cooked for 24 hours. She had mentioned that she gets it locally, and that it?s also the bestquality ingredients, as even the difference between ingredient quality can change the taste of the food very dramatically.
