We LOVE the Hydra! Their jalapeno bacon burger is THE BEST burger in town! I get it bunless with green beans as the side.... OMG...the green beans are SOOOO good! The chocolate and carrot cakes are UH-MAZING!! I know they have a temporary glitch withthe liquor license right now, but the food is SOOOO good that is a small concern. Read more

First time going to this gem! It was delicious ,the atmosphere was relaxing, we had a little booth in a nook. So we were not... bothered by anyone, our server was awesome, made sure we were taken care of periodically. My wife had the jalapeno bacon burgerand crispy fries, it was good, the bun was also toasted to perfection. I had the peppercorn new York steak, mashed potatoes andgreen beans. The steak was delicious lots of peppercorn, just covered in it. So it gave it a bite, which was good, but becareful if your not fond of cracked pepper. Good flavoring food. Awesome dinner at this cozy Sandpoint staple! Generous portions, solid service and a welcoming atmosphere keep us returning... again and again - and we're never disappointed. Food is decent, large portions, Chicken fried steak is great. The atmosphere is a older restaurant, one might say vintage. ... Something has changed regarding the service; the gal we got seemed to forget that we are paying to have a meal prepared. Theydo not offer a gluten free alternative on anything, so asking for some simple alterations seemed to be a bother and shepresented with quite a attitude. This will not be someplace we drop $100 on lunch again anytime soon. Read more
