I tried the Italian Grinder for lunch today, and boy oh boy was it delicious! My mom got the Turkey Grinder and loved it as... well. They have a great website for easy online ordering to bypass having to wait. We took the sandwiches home, but they have alot of outdoor seating available. We also got sides of potato and pasta salad. The potato salad was incredible, I wasn't a hugefan of the dressing on the pasta salad but my mom really enjoyed it. Don't forget to add a pack of cookies to your order too! Iwill definitely be back. An awesome place that the locals go to. This is truly a hidden gem, as you have to search a little to find it. But once you do,... you will keep going back. Their grinders are HUGE and are really flavorful. The sides are a nice compliment to the grinder, butthe sandwich is the star here. The Italian and the Mackinac Meatball are my two faves. Stopped on a whim while fishing in Shoreline Park. Man, was I pleasantly surprised! I had the Pizza grinder and it was... phenomenal. The bread was toasted to perfection and the ingredients were top notch. The loads of crushed red peppers along withthe banana peppers on top were perfect! I was so impressed, I decided to get a grinder for my mother who doesn't have much timeto cook while she cares for my elderly father. The owner gave me tips on how to warm up the grinder and prepared it a way sothat my mom could warm it up in the oven without sacraficing quality. Talk about personalized service! I could tell he waspassionate about his business. His s/o Becky actually tracked me down while I was fishing to bring me my food, and Jojo thecook did a fantastic job assembling my grinder. The cost of each grinder is a tad high, but for the location and exceptionalservice, I'd gladly pay it every time. I highly recommend this hidden treasure! Read more
