Cool place to get some good barbecue or other food and enjoy some outdoors. Great place for families on their way to the Cape.
I first enjoyed off the grid BBQ by way of their food truck in St Thomas and quickly became a regular customer. Seeing one of my... old friends playing music there (Barefoot Davis), eating off the grid and enjoying the beautiful grounds and sprawling outdoorseating was a very pleasant, nostalgic experience. Went here for the first time for lunch. Price was fine, however the food was just okay. We ordered three burritos. They seemed... confused when we asked for carnitas in the burritos. Flavor was bland, the hot sauce they gave us was not spicy (disappointed).Definitely a place more for tourists and not someone whose seeming authentic flavor. The pictures from previous reviews had melooking forward to trying this place, but after eating here I was left so disappointed. I?ll continue my search for authenticMexican burritos and food. $6 for the world?s smallest taco?! You?re joking. They charge the same amount for a vegetarian taco as they do a meat eater... taco. Meats much more expensive. Cashier gave 5 people their orders before ours. Wish this local place wasn?t so bad. Read more
Oh man, wicked good!! We got street tacos and husband got a flank steak taco, all stellar. The burnt cheese as a topping is... killer, you know that cheese you get at the edge of a quesadilla, yeah that amazing crunchy cheese. You get that layered overthe whole tortilla then throw a bunch of meat and toppings on it. It's right down the street from the Sandwich Beach and willdefinitely be our stop in place when we are in that area. Read more
My husband and I love this place, and more than once we?ve ordered when we?ve had out of town company to share the goodness! You... can tell they?re using fresh, quality ingredients and we?ve liked everything we?ve ever gotten. The Thai chicken burrito bowlthey?ve done in the past and the very recent OTG burrito are especially fantastic. Their prices are reasonable and service hasalso always been quick and friendly. The town of Sandwich doesn?t have anything else like this right now, and we can only hopethat Phatty?s is here to stay for a long time! Read more
