We always have breakfast out before we leave our week on the Cape. Having been disappointed this year with our usual, the 6A... Café (under new management), We decided to try Marshland, with wonderful results! There was a long wait on Saturday morning butit was definitely worth it. The breakfast selections were all appealing, as were that day specials - peach pancakes, blueberryFrench toast, and other tempting items. I ordered the blueberry French toast, three thick slices of beautifully prepared Frenchtoast and a heaping helping of fresh blueberries. My sister ordered the peach pancakes that were light and fluffy with peachesboth inside the batter and freshly sliced on top. My daughter had her favorite, chocolate chip pancakes and they too wereexcellent. Her boyfriend had the combination breakfast and there was so much delicious food that this 6?2? well built gentlemancould not finish it all! Our waitress was efficient and attentive. Since we had over-eaten during our entire week at the Cape wedecided to visit the bakery next time and we are sure it will be a delight! Read more

VERY disappointed! This has been my go to restaurant for fried seafood. After a long day driving to Boston hospital and not... wanting to cook, we looked forward to a good hot meal. I ordered the fried clam plate $31.99, whole bellied clams not strips andwas very disappointed. They were extremely small, mostly strips, without bellies. I live on Cape so know what clams are supposeto look and taste like. $31.99! I should've sent them back! The lobster bisque was not as described. There were zero chunks oflobster in it. My friend's onion rings were soggy, not cooked enough. They've lost a long time loyal local customer. Betterthey left the old booths and decor and food the way it was!! It stinks now!! PS the cornbread we had to ask for wasexcellent. YES, I would like a gift certificate and give it another chance. Really wish you hadn't changed. Read more
Craving something that wasn't seafood before leaving the Cape, we discovered Marshland Restaurant and are very glad we did! The... food was delicious, the service was fantastic and the prices were great. It's a small place so depending on when you go you mayhave to wait. A lot of people were regulars which is always a good sign that you've found a gem. Read more
Have ordered here numerous times without a problem. Last 2xs were both bad and won't be returning. 1st time steak tips and... meatloaf dinner. Asked for them cooked medium and mashed potatoes and beets. Got very overcooked tips with mash and squash.Called to complain an even asked if new chef cuz never had problem before. There was a new person in cooking that night, theysaid would refund $. I said it was just the tips the meatloaf was fine. She said they'd refund tips dinner, which i thought wasvery nice. Never got it anyways, but ordered again tonight this time fish an chips and wanted pot roast but didnt have it. Sowent with tips again. Asked how would i like it cooked, i said med/rare this time so wouldn't be overcooked. Asked if I'd likemashed or baked and squash or beets. I went with mashed/ beets again. Got tips really overcooked and again squash. Does the chefknow know the difference between beets/squash. Why bother asking what i want if they are just goin to give you what they feellike. Read more
The turkey club and fries was good. Onion soup was just OK, not enough Swiss cheese or onions and the crouton was too soggy. ... the bacon burger came with the bacon on the side with enormous onion rings which were delicious. The chicken Florentine on aroll was excellent. The beets in the beet salad were sliced too thick. The sizable Apple crisp came with ice cream and whippedcream but had little crumble or taste. Stopped in for a quick bite on our way to Ptown and we couldn?t be happier. The lobster roll was so fresh and generous, the... fries were light and crispy and even the coleslaw was yummy. The fish Rubin was also delicious. Waitress and service were alsolovely!! Read more
