There are A LOT of TV’s, big dining room and a very large menu. We were there at 2:30, in time for the lunch menu. We ordered... Queso and chips, the small was $10.99, super overpriced for the amount served, but the chips were very different and delicious. We then ordered a lunch special, healthy portions, the deep fried avocado ‘ball’ was tasty but our orders were mixed up. Theserver just kept pushing for us to remember to order dessert so she could make her month quota, I’ve never had a server sopushy about dessert. When we were finished and put our leftovers into a box……there was a cute little hair underneath thefood on the plate. The only thing the server said was, nothing. She just laughed and said oh well. I don’t think we’llreturn, not because of the hair, the pushy dessert server or the mix up on our order, BUT, the prices are outrageous for dinneror lunch if you don’t order from the lunch menu. Definitely one of my family's favorite Mexican food restaurants. We like to eat there often. The food is authentic fresh and... delicious. Never had a meal we didn't like! Try the fresh made to order guacamole. Read more

Its a small thing but the table chips are the best! I like the salsa they give but the chips! Service was good though it could... have been better. Server came around less often than I would have liked but still nice and helpful when they were around. Foodwas tasty and portions were large. The kids menu was a tad steep for what we got but I can't complain too much when its my ownkid that wont eat. We had no wait on a Monday evening when we expected a large one. Read more

Nice place to stop in for some good Mexican food. Loved the stuffed chicken avocado- was not expecting that here. Not Pictured... are the killer quesadillas! I would come back just for that! Overall, good experience. Service was friendly and quick. Read more

Greeted as soon as we walked in. Server was Catherine (The Great), friendly, explained the menu. Suggested a few different... options. We chose the queso with ground beef, the stuffed avocado with shrimp and cheese, with homemade beans, and fish tacoside. I had the smothered mixed burrito with chicken and steak, red and green sauce. The burrito was filled with meat, and notjust a little the normal. This thing was stuffed! Both meats were super tender, moist, and flavored with ample seasoning. Thered salsa was served warm with a hint more of heat with jalapeños thru out. The green avocado salsa had tomatilla and salt. Youwill want more of each of them. The chips are homemade too. This is a must visit Mexican restaurant. Read more

This is my second top Mexican restaurant of all time! The chips with salsa and guac are something I crave!! And they have the... best chimichanga I have had anywhere!! Every time I come I try to order something new to expand enjoyment and I have never hadanything disappointing. This time I chose a trio with bacon wrapped shrimp, a taco, and I can’t remember what the other itemwas called but it had aged cheese on it that was delicious! Everything is super fresh and the servings are enough to haveanother full meal with your leftovers. Especially after a few baskets of homemade tortilla chips with their guac and salsa! Read more

We used to REALLY love this restaurant but left disappointed. They’ve changed something, the lighting is SOO bright and way... too over crowded for their servers. We waited 20 minutes before having to ask if we had a server. Then they gave us the wrongfood, which was handled very professionally. I hope they can make some changes because we would love to come back. Read more

Good news for readers from Houston. Yes, this is the same restaurant you're familiar with! Used to be under the same owner until... the local proprietor bought it out, but the menu & recipes remain the same. Texans generally agree that nobody outside of Texasdoes Tex-Mex right, so discovering this place in Utah was a treat. The complimentary chips & salsas are the way they're supposedto be, and the portions are big! You won't be disappointed. Read more
