The food was very hot, fresh and tasty. One dish that was a, "soup" noodle dish(first picture) was a little blah for me. We took the family here last night and really enjoyed it. The idea to visit came from wanting to wax nostalgic over some lumpia,... which my friend would share back in elementary school. Incredible and niche Indonesian restaurant! I was so happy to find a unique restaurant like this in the southeast valley. Too... many restaurants there tend to be chains. This place mainly serves Indonesian food with some fusion items. The restaurant istastefully decorated and modern. We liked the metal tables. The staff were good. Our waitress was friendly. Our only complaintis the timing of the meals was off. Our appetizer came after the main meals. The menu has something for everyone. It wasn?t toobig but it was hard to pick what to try. The prices were extremely fair. All the food was excellent. We had calamari andscallion pancakes for apps. The calamari came with tempura which was excellent. Aaaamazing food and Andy was such a great server! Helped us figure out what to order! Got the lollipop chicken as an appetizer,... amazing, crunchy outside and tender inside. And then the Braised Beef was my dish, wow oh wow amazing. Right amount of heat too,I hate how in Utah there?s not enough heat but this was amazing. And then my husband got the Grilled Spicy chicken. Wow bestchicken ever, seared so nicely with a garlic taste. We will be back! I never come out to Sandy so it was important I chose a very tasty restaurant out this way, and this was the decision I made... based on the menu and reviews. I'm SO happy we chose this place. The food we tried was all SO good! We ordered the lollipopwings, Lumpia, eefoo mie, mie tek tek, mie babi bali, and more! I really enjoyed everything I tried, also I really loved thelumpia and sauce on the chicken wings! The service was also great. The server we had was very helpful and friendly with ourfamily and our pronunciation of the menu items (which was quite poor????)! I will be back! Read more
This place has moved into my top 3 restaurants in Utah and probably one of the best Asian Fusion places. Every dish ordered from... appetizers to entrees was very flavorful and delicious. We ordered the roti canai, lollipop wings, braised beef curry,firecracker basil chicken, and salt/pepper calamari. (We wanted to order the duck but that dish has to be ordered a day inadvance).
