We had a reservation for 10 people. About an hour into the reservation, we were told we needed to move to another table or leave... because a new reservation was coming in. They shoved all of us into a small corner so some of us left. The ?reservation? theymade us move for? Two people. Unbelievable. Food was good, drinks were good. Severs were fairly rude which I can understandespecially on an understaffed night. But making us move when we had a reservation and were spending more than enough money?That?s not right. Great appetizers and burgers. Wings aren't the best but are still pretty good. If I could I would only eat the apps.
A classic dinner in downtown Sandy Hook. I am in love with the wings here and everyone I know has at least one favorite meal... from this place. I love getting dinner from this place and I am always given a treat of a meal. It can get quite busy andcrowded later in the day. However, this by no means changes the quality of food or service. Food was good. But you have a hugh fly problem. Their are numerous ways to combat Flys. Screen doors and fly traps. Flys landing... on you and your food is unexceptable . Read more

While in the area for dinner with a larger party, we were looking for comfort food and a menu with options for everyone. Cover... Two?s menu had everything we were looking for, and then some! The sports bar vibe was family friendly, the staff was attentive,and the food came out quickly. Some of the best dishes we had were the Wing Burger, the steak and cheese egg rolls, and theGladiator sandwich. The pretzel sticks were soft and doughy, and the cheese sauce that came with them was great. We were a bitdisappointed in the buffalo wings, as we found them to be very small and possibly overcooked because of how dry they were. I wastold these were some of the best wings in the area, and maybe it was an off night or related to the wing shortage, but Iunfortunately have to disagree with that statement. I ordered Mac and cheese and found it to be pretty basic - no breadcrumbs,and the cheese sauce settled at the bottom of the dish and constantly had to be stirred to get any cheese. I went to Cover Two around 6 to pick up takeout. I showed up early and decided to have a drink at the bar. Not any fault of... Cover, but there was a group of very loud guys sitting at the big table in the middle of the dining room acting like fools. Theywere screaming and giving their server a hard time about serving them more pitchers. I hung around a lot longer than I shouldof... and learned they were court marshals from Danbury. I watched these guys make everyone around them uncomfortable. I thinkshe told them to leave because around 930 they cleared out. Thank goodness because I was about to say something. Other thanthat, my Autumn In Ct was amazing and refreshing. I ordered the Steak and Cheese egg rolls, Apple Salad and the Bacon CheddarBurger. They were a hit! Even though my food sat for a while as I sat for a while lol, it was still fresh. I would suggestasking for the pickle on the side to keep more moisture out. ***** Read more
