Meh! If it is Mexican food you are interested in, this is not the place. The overall food quality is there. It's the total lack... of any Mexican food flavor that yells go elsewhere. I went on a less than busy time of the day and the service was slooooow. Imean very slooooow. For me, there are a couple of menu items that are indicative of food authenticity. On this day, I opted forthe Tampiquena steak. This is simple and, at a good Mexican restaurant, loaded with flavor. Here, the idea behind the steakseems to have gotten lost. Even if I concede the more TexMex style of the menu, the flavors took the day off. Now, don't get mewrong. The steak was very good. If you had blind folded me, I might have guessed I was at Outback or some other similar middleof the road steak house. La Parrilla is one of our most favorite restaurants ever, not just Mexican. This location is just a couple of miles away from my... house, but I like McDonough and Marietta locations better, TBH. On several occasions here at S. S. the food was overly salty.Still, this is a gem and tilapia and shrimp dish, as well as veracruz are killer! The Sandy Springs location of La Parrilla is a great restaurant with an upscale Tex-Mex feel. The quality of their food compares... favorably to other more traditional Mexican restaurants, and it's worth every penny! The quality of the food is a notch aboveyour more traditional Mexican Restaurants. I highly recommend the La Parrilla Margarita and the Texas nachos, fajita, orquesadilla! Enjoy! Read more

I am obsessed with the outside look and inside design of this place!!! The food was also great! Their meat has a great flavor.... Then I was pleasantly surprised the prices were so affordable like normal Mexican restaurant prices!! Only thing is I wasn?t afan of their chips, they are like the store bought white corn Tostitos. It's been many years since I went to this chain and it was good then and even better now. I forgot about this place until... friends invited me for lunch. I have to admit I was a little reluctant because I've pretty much stopped eating at chains unlessthey are truly amazing. They restaurant has both inside and outside seating, very open spaces, looks very clean. The servicewith with a smile and fast, super fast. I have the chicken burrito, came with rice and beans and fresh salsa on top. I couldtell with the first bite that all the ingredients were fresh 100%. Usually in chains, at least in my experience, Mexican foodall tastes the same but not here, it's game on! I loved their chips, perfect, the way I like, not to thin but not to fateither, perfect to dipping into their homemade salsa. I couldn't stop eating it! Will I go here again? Oh yah! Read more
