Poorly managed. No biscuits, no spicy chicken during lunch time, the manager is using the only register that can take orders to... figure out how to clock an employee in. Front counter gentleman was courteous and the food was what you would expect. The waitis horrible. Not fast food. Read more
Gave me sweet tea when I asked for unsweet twice, forgot to give me plasticware, then gave me three of what I'm assuming were... the smallest pieces of chicken they had in the kitchen. KFC is right down the road, just go there. Read more
Got the $10 2 can dine tender meal. Ordered online, no issues. Selected we would go in to pick up and the doors were locked.... Waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes before flagging down an employee who got us our order. Sides were good. The chickentenders were disgusting. Hard to bite into, the meat was basically all muscle and extremely tough. No flavor and the pieces weretiny. Even though the price was awesome, not worth it and will not be returning. Read more
They need to restaff the drive thru people they use to have the sweetest lady and now the lady they have is rude and gets mad... over everything. She did the same thing for the car behind us and in front. Read more
Look in your bag befor you leave!!!!!! Went to Popeyes on Thur 7/28/22 at 11:45am on 17/92 Sanford FL the girl that helped me... was doing fine. Then her Manager just steped in for she was wasn't going fast enough took over my order didn't even ask her orme..or even look at the coupon I had. We finally made it to over to get one of the chicken sandwiches. We got regular & spicy. The meat was huge! The sauce makes the... overall flavor "rich" and a bit heavy. We liked well enough to try again. My only negative is there's a distinct taste and feelof fry grease after. Read more
I truly love Popeye's spicy chicken with the Cajun spices. I have been a fan since the ?80s and love the food. I had been... inspecting a 101-year-old home in Orlando and missed lunch so I was really hungry. My wife asked if I could pick something upon the way home. This was not my first visit to the Sanford location but traffic was backed up on I-4 so I took the back wayhome instead, I stopped here instead of the Orange City location. I ordered the 12 piece family meal with mash potatoes,coleslaw, and an additional large mac n? cheese. While sitting in the line, I could see all the old grease stains around theback door and the dirty garden hose left out for someone to trip over. I was thinking, they should screen this area off if theywere not going to keep it clean. The sight honestly killed my appetite. Just then, my wife called and asked if I would get anadditional large mash potato and large coleslaw. The size of the sides seemed to have been getting smaller over the years ormaybe it is just my family is growing. When I got to the window, I asked the drive-thru cashier if I could add the extra items. She slammed her open hand down on the stainless steel counter and went off to get the manager. The manager said yes to addingthe two extra items at the window. The cashier gave me the new total and it was only $3 more than the first total $38. I knewsomething was wrong but did not want any further conflict with this woman. The food was good as usual but the chicken had an oldoil flavor aftertaste. I will do my best to avoid this location in the future even if it means staying on I-4 when it is backedup at the bridge.
