We have lived in Sanford for about 6 years. We have started coming here for pizza over the last year to find our new favorite... pizza place since our old one is in Longwood (Broadway). This place is just as good and it's literally right around the corner!We have tried several items over several visits an our overall experience has been quite pleasant and the food delicious.definitely have recommended to family and friends! I was so disappointed with my latest experience there. I used to love this place. They used to serve huge pizza by the slice and... have a great lunch special of 2 slices of pizza with your choice toppings and a drink. Used to meet my aunt there all the timeonce a week for lunch. On this day after much time not seeing my aunt, we went to meet up and we arrived at 2:40pm ( my aunt isa frequent customer she takes all her friends there and will order for pick up at her home) we were seated at 2:40 pm. Thewaitress who we've never seen there before came to assist us finally at 2:50pm ( lunch special is over at 3pm) She asked if wewere ready to order and we said yes. We ordered 2 slices of Hawaiian pizza for my aunt, I ordered 1 cheese slice and one withpineapples and my bf ordered a cheese slice with extra cheese and a slice with jalapeños. She took the order and we asked forwater . She came back with the water and told her us we were too late for the lunch special so she would have to charge usregular price. We agreed but did protest just a bit that we were seated before 3pm but that was fine. She went to put in ourorder and then told us we had to order something else from what was left over from preparations from the lunch pizza (so I guessit isn't freshly made which was disappointing to find out). Out the slices left, we all received cheese ( but not extra cheesebecause that wasn't on the original pizzas) and a tomato basil and some kind of wine pizza) not our choices but we acceptedthem) She then proceeded to tell us well if you want the special you should come in at 230pm. With the condescending tone shegave us, I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came over and she immediately tried to give us the special but I explainedthat wasn't my concern. Nice food. Horrible service. The server was full of attitude. Took forever to get boxes. She said there was problem with kitchen... so we didn?t even get the dessert. When asked why we were charged for dessert she got really upset and rude. She could alsoexplain why the service was slow with a smile In stead of getting angry. This is a really nice restaurant! Has a bar/lounge vibe. Staff are friendly especially Cassandra the waitress. Food is great! If... your looking for a new pizzeria or just a hang out spot definitely check this place out! Read more
I called around 8:50pm on a Saturday night and ordered 1 large (16?) cheese pizza and garlic knots (x10). When we picked up our... pizza they gave us (and charged us for) an extra large (18?) pizza. It wasn?t busy inside. We shrugged it off and took the pizzahome. Our mistake was not looking at the pizza before we drove away. It looked so unappealing and undercooked. The amount ofcheese on this pizza was enough to make any cheese lover, like myself, sick. The base of the pizza seemed like it would havebeen good if the pizza had been cooked for another 5+ minutes but biting into the crust, we found raw dough. The saving gracewas the garlic knots. Not exceptional but definitely tasty. I saw on the website that the Happy Hour looks decent so my partnerand I are willing to give that a shot but I can say my expectations aren?t high after this last experience. Read more
I am not sure if this place is cutting corners to save money or their cooks are not reading the orders correctly. We ordered... extra pizza sauce on our pizza and there was very little sauce put on the pizza. We even pulled back the toppings and cheese toshow that whoever made the pizza was being stingy with the sauce. I can't blame the server because she clearly put extra sauceon the order ticket and our receipt. So the person who made the pizza was not paying attention to the ticket. This is the secondtime in a row this has happened. The previous time the same issue occurred. We just thought it was maybe a one time problem. Nowthat it has happened a second time we are probably not going to order pizza at this place again. It is such a shame too. Becausewhen this location first opened their pizza was great. Lately I am not sure what the problem is but if we are not going toreceive what we ordered then we will probably get pizza at Flippers instead. I also took pictures of the slices of pizza with nosauce and the order ticket and receipt. They clearly wrote down extra pizza sauce but we received hardly any sauce. We weredisappointed and we did say something to the server so she brought us some extra pizza sauce in a small cup. This sauce was coldand not the same as being included on the pizza. I hope that COVID19 is not causing this place to become cheap on theingredients in their food like with several other restaurant establishments in the area. Read more
I ordered the veggie equivalent pizza and I found it just ok. It did have a nice crust but the rest of the pizza was a little... salty. It kind of reminded me of frozen pizza but my hubs says it was a pretty good pizza cause his side had pepperoni ( I canteat that) so its worth a try. It is very upscale looking and its a great place to watch the game. The service was just ok but itwasnt bad. My kids got the chicken tenders ( the ranch was not good)and spaghetti. They enjoyed It. Plenty of room to bring thefamily. Looks like a full bar with nice happy hour prices. They had great little kids packets to keep the kids busy while theywaited on their food. Read more
Pizza was amazing. Some confusion on the part of the staff left us sitting for a bit before we were gotten to but it... straightened out once they got sorted out. The food was worth the wait. Read more
