Sushi's good, I'd definitely order again. They're open till 11, but when we came in the other night a couple minutes past 10,... it was pretty clear they didn't want to seat us. Read more

TLDR: no quality sake, one of the better strip mall sushi places but not one I'll go out of my way for, fish cuts were quality,... staff was nice, chef was great, sushi rice was not soft enough, krab was odd. First off, do not expect any good sake here. Theyhave sho chiku bai for their house hot sake (fine) at 6.95 for a small (ridiculous) and then two other low end cold sakes. I wasexpecting to find at least a handful of decent sake with the word "sake" being in the name of the place. staff was nice andattentive, though seemed apprehensive, like they weren't sure what to do with customers (server brought me water after themeal). Place was generic Japanese restaurant theme. Nice enough. tables looked nice. sushi bar looked standard. Chef made goodcuts on the fish, though thin portions. I did the lunch special of 1 California roll and 6 pieces of fish. Fish was all verymild and good temperature. Not out of this world but good enough for strip mall tuna. The California roll was odd. The krab wasdense. The rice was also odd. Had a stiff texture. the whole roll felt unusually stiff to eat. Wasabi was somewhat punchy butstill more mild than I prefer. Ginger was standard but not bad. The chef was the best part of the experience. He had skill andalso made me a small sample of a tuna/salmon baked bite with eel sauce that was delightful. I'm giving 4 stars because they seemlike they are making a good effort and I feel they deserve business. I don't live close by so it won't be mine again though. Read more

Stopped by while on a trip. The fish is clean, fresh and enjoy the decor and music. You instantly feel relaxed. There was only... one waiter but he was friendly and quick. We ordered the black dragon, green dragon, and the sweet heart rolls. We love sushiand so glad we stopped. We were kind of "iffy" because of mixed reviews. If we are ever in the area again we will be coming herefor our sushi fix. Read more

I’m going to start with: I don’t like seafood. This should give you an idea of how good they are. I love the Sushi here!... This is the best Sushi you can possibly find. Fresh, no “fishy” taste, simply incredible. Read more

Overall a very "meh" experience. Overall, it was nearly 2 hours from sit-down to check. Service was good, but slow (only one... waitress for the whole restaurant on a Saturday night.) We ordered Gyoza (steamed) and three rolls of maki sushi. From orderingto getting our app was about 8-9 minutes, sushi took a bit longer (nearly 30-40 minutes from ordering). The cooked sushi washot, cold sushi was cold. Everything tasted great! Server was super nice, but again, overworked. We will be back at thislocation to try it again, as it's right by our apartment, but hopefully next time we have a better experience. Read more
