My husband and I came here for the first time and let me just tell you that we were in for a serious treat! We waited roughly... 5-10 minutes to be seated and immediately was greeted with warm and friendly smiles and were led to our booth. Our server was onpoint making sure we had our hot and buttery bread rolls that their known for with that signature cinnamon butter. I then gotstraight to dinner ordering the beef tips with mashed potatoes, featuring onions, mushrooms, cheese, and sour cream. If you’relooking for something that tastes like love on a plate, then this dish is definitely for you! My husband ordered the 12oz NYstrip cooked to a perfect medium rare with mashed potatoes and corn. I had briefly mentioned to the girl seating us that it wasour first time dining at this restaurant and the manager came by towards the end of our meal to see how everything was and gaveus a coupon for a free appetizer on our next visit! What a smart business idea. All that to say, the staff is absolutely amazingand the food was even better! I’ll definitely be back. Read more

The wait for a party of 11 was typical for large groups. The service personnel were very friendly but the cleanliness of the... silverware and the floors left little to be desired. It took 4 tries for them to find decent silverware that were clean enoughfor 5 of us to use. On the last try, I had to sift through 10 sets that they had the audacity to wrap in a cloth napkin, which 7were unusable...where's the surprise visit from the @boardofhealth when you need them? I really like this Sanford location. The servers are always friendly, the food and drinks taste better than other ones I've been... to. Ask for the Key Lime Margarita, it's delicious! Read more

Two words. Food poisoning. On the toilet since I got back. All of us have pains in our stomachs. Bathroom was dirty. Food we... told the server it was awful. She didn’t offer anything off the check. Just told us she was sorry and not much else she coulddo. Had multiple servers, kids food was disgusting. Bathrooms were soaked in urine. I mean it was so bad you didn’t want totouch things without gloves on. Butter or the rolls were a problem. Didn’t have that addicting taste that they usually havewhen I go to the one in orange city. No one greeted us at the table, almost left. Almost an hour waiting on food, no updates.Food looked bad as well, but hey you’re starving so you give it a shot. If I end up going to the hospital, I will be savingthe bill, and reaching out to someone higher up! Avoid this location, and try orange city! Don’t subject the family to thisplace. I usually avoid chains all together and support mom and pop restaurants who want to keep business, and not lose it. Read more

Good solid comfort food choice. We go to enjoy the yeast rolls and consistent food. The steaks are cooked correctly and tonight... I tried the herb chicken. Very tasty. I judge many restaurants by the way they cook the vegetables and the veggie of the day wasnot overdone, was crisp and flavorful. Read more

This has been the worst roadhouse we've been to. We were put on the waitlist at 6:32. Got called at 7 but then had to wait... ANOTHER 15 min inside. Then we were seated with no rolls or silverware and the guy took a really long time bringing our drinksand appetizers. We ordered a cactus blossom and they left the skin on part of it. (We complained and it was taken off). My dadordered chili and my mom and I were both done with our salads by the time his bowl came out. Then we all ordered the road kill.My mom's roadkill came out looking like a brick. Definitely not the "medium" she ordered. And she didn't want to complainbecause we had already complained about the onion. (She could eat the middle but some parts were so burnt, she couldnt chew it)We left the restaurant at 8:20. Overall, this was not the best texas roadhouse. Go to the orange city one instead. Read more

Texas Roadhouse and me attempting a 24 oz bone in tomahawk cut steak!!! Added a skewer of shrimp for the win!! Also had a side... salad to take away some of the guilt. I had my steak Pittsburgh seared and cooked medium rare, it came out perfect. Service wasgreat however a slow delivery of our order due to a peak time dinner rush as expected, no worries, our server brought bread tothe table which thwarted our hunger. I highly recommend call ahead seating. Overall a perfect 5 star night out at TRH.. Read more
