Cracker barrel in Sanford NC - what has happened?? Went to have dinner with family - extremely limited menu. No problem - 3 of... the 6 had grandma's sampler. 2 had hash brown casserole so dry you had to drink a quarter of your tea after each bite. One hadcrunchy scrambled eggs - choked on eggshells! Waiter said sorry, we have a new guy cracking eggs - seriously? Ordered 2 of thewhite cheddar bites - 1 was perfect, and 1 was burnt!! No offer to deduct from check! What has happened with you guys? The food and service was amazing and would recommend to anyone in the area they are very kind and quick.
This food is horrible. Taste like it came from a TV dinner. I spent way to much money to. Around 60$ and the roast was bland and... tasted like a microwave dinner. The chickenpox pie had a flavor I couldn't put my finger on but was not good. Only thing thatwas decent was the chicken tenders my daughter got and fried pickles appetizer. This would be exactly the same flavor of cracker barrel as every other one. Good service good food. No frills.
I love the Sanford cracker barrel. I've been here more then a few times and their customer service is always good. Food can be a... bit hit or miss but they are quick to fix mistakes if you make them aware of them. Today I felt my steak and eggs were overcooked they quickly said yes we are so sorry and brought me out a fresh breakfast that was done very well. Read more
Excellent as always. Food was delicious and service was prompt and friendly. Will stop in again when in Sanford. Stopped back... in, disappointed that they had discontinued Fruit Stand Tea, so I had Watermelon Lemonade with my Chicken Dumplings and StewedApples. Outstanding, as always! Read more
Tried something different this time. The menu looks like it's got lots of new stuff on it. I think it was something like a fried... turkey dinner with a couple of sides. I would definitely eat it again I didn't catch our service name but she was very good.thank you for providing proper service. Read more
