Classic dive bar. The interior is what you would expect from a dive bar as well as the menu, mostly all fried grilled. Food... was just ok, but the conch fritters were pretty bland and mushy which was a little disappointing. Will probably swing throughagain to give it another shot but it was just average this time. I really love the dive bar vibe of this place. You feel very comfortable in your sandy shoes and beach clothes. This visit... orders were placed at the bar with the friendly bartenders and they called your name when your food was ready. Drinks were madeand delivered on the spot. I had a canned Nutrl cocktail and the fried shrimp basket and it was perfect. The shrimp were big,not overly breaded/battered, and cooked just right. The fries were the seasoned and battered type and also piping hot and fresh. So yummy and one of my favorite meals of the week. Prices were reasonable, especially for how good the food was. Can?t wait formy next visit to the island to have this again! Read more

Today we experienced lunch at The Lazy Flamingo for the first time. This is a very casual restaurant with a sizeable bar, 7... inside tables and covered outside seating. You pick up menus and order at the bar. There is no table service, and that?s ok. Weordered mozzarella sticks ($7.99) Bacon Cheeseburger with fries ($13.99) half Caesar salad with mesquite grilled chicken servedwith garlic bread ($12.99) and a mesquite grilled grouper platter with fries and Cole slaw ($24.99). So first let?s talk portionsizes?..huge! Two of us could have shared the burger or grouper. The half salad was the side of a full salad most places.Flavors- Flavorful everything. The fries were crispy and tasty. This is definitely a restaurant that we recommend and willhappily return to. Mickey Read more

The food was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were large and battered just right. Not over battered. My boyfriend got the smoked... salmon and loved it. My mom got the fried Oysters and loved them. So we were completely satisfied. Read more

Th Lazy Flamingo is a bit of a standard around here, small menu and consistently good food. Their grouper entrees are all... awesome and the conch fritters are decent. I think I've had everything on their menu now and it's all good. Read more

Great spot for no nonsense fresh seafood. Had a baker's dozen oysters and even found a pearl!???? Shrimp every way you want... them and all delicious. Beware of the Dead Parrot Wings - not for the faint of heart. There are 2 locations and the Pine Avesite is a good spot for a sunset. Read more

Wonderful spot with killer food. Coconut shrimp are outstanding. Had some oysters and clams on the half shell and they were... yummy. Tossed in a half order of peel and eat shrimp and what a lunch! So good this little guy wanted in. Read more

This place is very small. And it's clearly understaffed. So be expected to place your order and pick it up yourself from the... bar. Outdoor seating is more spacious vs indoor which is dark and there are only a handful of booths. We arrived at a very goodtime, hardly anyone there around 6 pm on a Saturday (out of season) The food did take a bit longer than most other places but itwas good. Taste wise. I had the buffalo, hot wings and my bf got the ribs and fries. We ate everything. The taste was on point.However..... Around 9/10 pm I developed a headache from hell. Around 11/12 I threw up all the chicken wings. My headache wentaway though.... That's the only negative from the experience. Idk if the headache was from what I ate ... but I'll say oncethose wings were up and out I was 100% better. ???? (Also) every condiment that's in the caddy outside sitting in swelteringheat Says, "refrigerate after opening" I did try the indian hot sauce on the table, then read the bottle so maybe that's whatcaused my random illness... Idk I find it very hard to believe people who own restaurants are still letting perishable saucessit in the heat unrefrigerated at night, evidently food safety is null and void. Read more
