Old cafe they do the light house decor very well. Food was good nothing special. Where is the light house

I would stay away from this place. Long lines does not equate to good food. Their menu looked pretty good and advertised some... high rankings for good food in national lists. Their whole wheat pancakes are what they boast about but they were very dry andthe blueberries did not seem fresh. Their fruit of the day was non-ripe strawberries. Breakfast potatoes had promise but we'rehighly over cooked and so crunchy and hard you thought you were going to break a tooth. They also tasted like fried vegetableoil. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good, but that was the only positive thing. Coffee was bland and weak. Only a fewspots on their patio. Staff was somewhat friendly but was clearly overwhelmed. Such a great experience. The owner, Dan, is super friendly and kind, and the entire staff is wonderful, especially Steve, he is... very nice and funny. This is a quiet, quaint, perfect little restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Read more

Actually I do recommend this restaurant. The staff were nice. The food was fairly basic but tasty. Air Conditioning wasn't... keeping up as they had the front door open. We were there for lunch. Not sure if they are open in the evenings. My Fiancé hada well made Bloody Mary. Read more

If you like to avoid the big box franchise mess like I do this is definitely a place to check out. We had a breakfast omelette... that was so fluffy and full of seafood and veggies. It was amazing. It wa so good we went back the next day for lunch.Delicious! The staff is on top of it and the owner Dan is super cool. They do order ahead seating, carry out and will do curbside pick up if requested. Real nice portions sizes so you don't leave hungry. Check out my pics. Read more
