The chicken katsu was way undercooked and the portion of it was way too much, rice was wet but the macaroni salad was ok and the... sauce that came with it was good too but it was a poor quality meal Read more

If you're interested in expanding your horizons and want to try something new by bristol plaza do yourself a favor and DO NOT... COME HERE. There was no customers inside and yet they still managed to take forever to give us our food. On top of that, thechicken katsu masubi wasn't even fully cooked! Also, the brown rice was inedible, kinda hard to tell in the picture but therewas a white type of substance in there. Felt like I was eating mashed potatoes. In the photo I got the Lighter Garlic Shrimp andthe plate was filled with greens. Honestly thought I was going to get a larger portion of shrimp for paying over $10 for theplate Read more

When I can't decide what to eat I usually end up here. They're fast and friendly. The food is always good. I usually get a bbq... chicken or beef bowl that is similar to but better than Flame Broiler. The bbq chicken plate is really satisfying as well. Read more

Good and friendly service. Edit: I like this better than the one in Irvine. They put your order in a bigger box and for some... reason, their cooks are better here. If you don't mind the bit more drive, go here instead of the one in Irvine. At least here, they give you a more even serving of your rice/carbs and your protein! And for some reason too, the ingredients seem fresherand hotter and no I'm not getting paid to post this lol. Read more

I was hopeful for this meal. I ordered pineapple chicken. Time to receive the order was reasonable as was the woman who took my... order. The food is another thing, the chicken was very heavily battered and there was a significant amount of battered skin withno chicken, lastly there was very little pineapple. Additionally, there was a metallic taste that lingered for quite awhile. Iam unsure if it was from the fry oil, or the sauce. First-time, last-time. Read more

Half & half mini: chicken katsu & BBQ chicken: The katsu was pretty good. Super crispy and the meat wasn't dry. The BBQ chicken... was not bad either but something was missing, it has a nice I think teriyaki flavor but you can also taste not fresh chicken. The mac salad was alright; it kind of tastes fishy. The salad was meh and the rice was meh. The volcano sauce was like tapatio wa light soy and the katsu sauce was more like a heavy soy sauce. 3/5 Read more

I haven't eaten at L&L in a few months so I'm not sure if all the chains changed up their recipe or not, but the food from this... location is not at all what I'm used to getting at L&L. The quality and flavor of the BBQ Beef and Short Ribs was way below whatI've been accustomed to. It was bland, a bit thicker, and overall just didn't taste that good. Read more

Was shopping at Target and noticed L&L Barbecue had opened up. They have some grand opening specials posted on the window (I... believe they were bowls), but I went in to order their 4 for $5.50 musubi. Thought that you could only order four of the samemusubi, but the girl behind the counter said you can choose any 4! Decided on 2 spam musubi, 1 bbq chicken musubi, and 1Portuguese sausage musubi. Their musubi is fully wrapped in nori which is different from the strip of nori I?m used to, but Ilike nori so I?m not complaining! ???? The only downside of it was the slight difficulty of figuring out which piece was whichuntil biting into it. Spam musubi is obviously the classic, but I really enjoyed the slight spice kick with the Portuguesesausage and the bbq chicken was nice and juicy. Will be back for more soon! ???? Read more
