I wanted to like this place, unfortunately, it is overrated, overpriced and the menu has few options: Tacos at $7.50 each or... quesadillas at $13. If you wants chips and nasty salsa, you can spend $15 for their trio of salsas. Food was very good. Everything tasted great. I could tell it was very fresh and the ingredients were well thought out and good... quality. Only reason I'm giving three stars is because the waiter was inattentive. We sat outside and he would walk out to thepatio and never make eye contact with us and always head straight to his other tables. I would have to flag for him and speakout to get his attention. There were a total of 4 tables in the entire restaurant so it wasn't even busy. Also never brought ussalsa for our food when we asked. Read more

Great atmosphere, bartenders are friendly We are living in a different times, things aren?t normal but we have to do with what... we got. I?m glad some places are still open like Lola Gaspar . Located in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, this places has anice outside patio to eat. I started off with esquite which hit the spot right away. Great Tapas place but centered on Mexican food. The food is tasty. It's not the cheapest place but the price is also not too... outlandish. Many of the dishes are difficult to share so come with someone you don't mind sharing a single taco with. Theatmosphere is nice with oil lamps in the evening. I would recommend stopping by. The food is incredible. Churros are super crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The chocolate dipping sauce tastes just... like good hot chocolate. Visited 3 times in a five day trip. Read more
