Best cachapas, the cornmeal flat bread was perfectly done, a very comforting and familiar flavor, and I'm not normally a fan of... cornmeal anything. The sauces were also well done with no separation and great balance to the flavor. The ingredients werewell chosen and flavorful. Only the beef was a little tough. I'm sure if I'd ordered the shrimp or chicken option they wouldhave gotten all 5 stars in this review. I will go back some day, despite the distance from home, and i may update this reviewthen. They are really very proud of having provided for for baseball games. Read more

I've never tried Venezuelan food before but this place was great! Heard about them through social media and loved the food here.... I had a mamey smoothie and a pabellon cachapa. The food was very different from anything I've eaten before but very delicious. The corn was a little sweet but not super sweet and the meet was very savory and the cheese was perfect. They give you two verythick salsas which are also delicious, but be warned the hot option is VERY hot. Overall a great place to eat that I will returnto. Also want to thank the staff, they were so friendly and kind. Read more

Amazing little taste of Venezuelan cuisine in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, CA. Authentic Venezuelan food. Hard to find... that. Got the pabellón Cachapa (sweet corn pancake w/ beans, shredded beef, and cheese), the pastelitos de carne (beef filledpastry), and passion fruit juice. Everything was good, my favorite was the pastelitos. Passion fruit was too sweet for me butI'm not into sweets in general. I see myself frequenting this place whenever I feel like having Venezuelan food. Food9.5/10 Service 9/10 Ambiance 8/10 Price 8.5/10 Overall 9/10 would recommend. Read more

We came hungry and left very happy. (That's the motto for some other place but it applies here.) This was my friend's first time... trying Venezuelan food. She ordered an arepa with caprese cheese and a mamey shake. I ordered a fish bowl with plantains and acachapa con queso y frijoles. Never in my life has a pancake tasted so good. It was so savory and the cheese especially isdelicious. My friend agreed that their beans are seasoned very well. All their food is very flavorful. What I especially lovedwas the customer service. When the waitress first came over, she said "Even if this is your first time trying Venezuelan food, you've already tried pretty much everything on the menu." ???? She then gave the names of comparable Mexican and Latindishes. Their sauce is available for sale. It was so good, we bought the regular and spicy one. Note: In-person dining is backand I'm so glad. It was such a lovely day. Outdoor seating is also available too. Read more

Pabellón Arepa: Really juicy shredded beef with plump black beans and slightly pungent cotija. Love it. The corn bread part is... pretty dense and filling. Guasacaca (dark green): spicy sauce with hints of lime? Picante (light green): This tastes like achimichurri sauce. Read more

Perfection from Venezuela?s Norah Briceno. Norah will sit down and help you decide on her dishes, which feed Padres,Dodger and... other baseball nationals. There is already so much said and accomplished about this wonderful cook, I can only say,Authentic,Homey atmosphere, great Latin music and satiated food. Not open late, street parking, Handicap, bathroom, chill loungearea. I will always ?Come Again?. English and Spanish spoken well here. Please Enjoy! Read more

Food taste in arepas fills is average. Cachapas are delicious! Rude staff specially when you have to deal with the older lady.... Very rude and careless attention to customers. No A/C when we went. Too hot in July. It takes a while for someone to come andtake your order, better if you head directly to the front desk and order there. Food taste on the arepas filling was average.not very tasty. Cachapas were delicious and same with the patacones. The juices were average as well. Read more

Nice place with artisanal decor. Authentic Venezuelan food made fresh so getting your order may take some time. My first... experience at Mil Jugos was nice. The food was tasty but limited on vegetarian/ vegan options. Their menu offers a variety ofdishes (including gluten free fare) without being overwhelmed by your choices. I definitely recommend this place. Read more
