If you wanna try good north indian food in santa barbara, do check out this place. The appetizers are really good. We tried... punjabi fish fry, chicken pakoda, curry fries and indian latke. Be careful when you tell the spicy level. They have 2 levels????? and very ??????????. We ordered ?????, which was really spicy, can’t imagine how ?????????? tastes. Read more

The food was tasty and what you would expect of an Indian spot! Was happy with everything we ordered but I wouldn’t... necessarily recommend a friend to visit here. The vibe was a little odd inside, I’d consider this more of a takeout spot thandine-in. Read more

Looking at the pictures online will not do justice to the food quality they serve at this place. We ordered 5 sabzi and 2... appetizers and their food was “Authentic Indian”. I am from India and I give them 5 stars and more. The owners are veryfriendly and they are doing exceptional work over here in Santa Barbra. Shout out to the owners and the chef for great work. From bottom of my heart they made my heart happy and our vacation memorial. Definitely coming back. Must visit. Read more

We absolutely loved Apna Indian Kitchen. We visited Santa Barbara on Christmas and all places were closed except for Apna Indian... Kitchen. We saw they had 4.7 stars in Google Reviews and they were every bit worth it. We loved it so much that we visited thenext day for dinner again! It is family owned and one of the family members is the head chef. They live by their motto "alwaysbe faithful to quality". We ordered Malai Kofta, Yellow Dal, Indian Latke, Masala Chana, Punjabi Fish Fry, and Garlic Naan.Indian Latke (aloo chat), Punjabi Fish Fry, and Malai Kofta were outstanding! Compared to those, the dal and Chana seemedaverage (they were still good but we were spoilt by the starters!). The complimentary Chai was a nice addition! Read more

Just spent a nice weekend in Santa Barbara. Being out for Christmas on a rainy day was an experience to remember. Most places... are closed and rest are over crowded. We went to 3 places before we found Apna Indian Kitchen open. It is centrally located indowntown Santa Barbara. They have cooler with large choice of beer and wines. We had to wait but we saw staff work fast and hardto take care of the customers. Despite pressure they were courtious and got us hot food that we all loved. We will go backagain. Read more
