The food here is always amazing. I love CPK however the service needs work. We never received or were even asked if we wanted... bread. The pizza took two times the amount of time it takes to make. The server never came around to check if we wanted refills.Instead we had to flag someone down. The people at the bar were being served very well. I guess next time of my recommendationis to sit at the bar. Wish the service was better. I love this restaurant. But hard to recommend with service like that. Nocomplaint on the food. Always tasty!!! Came here tonight with my fiancée. Was greeted by Maylin, and they (along with the entitle staff) were so friendly and... welcoming. Food was on point, even with a long line of takeout orders. Highly recommend them!! Read more

Pretty decent food, customer service was lacking.

Hate to do this because CPK Thai Crunch Salad is supreme but.. we had a terrible experience at this location. Without getting... into too much detail, the things that went wrong: - Vegetarians beware | Salad with sub for vege chicken came out with chickenmeat, and my vegetarian SIL accidentally ate chicken meat (she's been vege for over a decade) - Check your bill | Replacementsalad for vege didn't have avocado in it although the additional charge for avocado was still on the bill. - Not good for biggroups | Table of 7, two mains came out, the others didn't arrive for at least 15min, so the two first meals had to be eatenbefore everyone else got their food or they'd be cold. Pizza was not hot on arrival. - Not good for small children/babies | Wehad a 2 year old who's meal was last to come. (not sure how a salmon dish and a large pizza takes longer than salads & a child'spizza to make..) - Don't expect attentive service | Asked for more menus twice (only had 2 for a table of 7) and they nevercame. Asked for water 3 times—luckily on the 3rd time we got some. Asked for side plates for the appetizers—never came.Dirty appetizer dishes never got cleared. Staff would drop things off and then not stick around long enough to see if we hadeverything we needed so it was impossible to flag anyone down for help/service. Eg. asked for fresh cracked pepper but theybought chilli flakes and I didn't have the chance to say "sorry I wanted black pepper". Never got asked how our mealwas. Usually wouldn't waste my time writing a review like this but it was for my Mother's 70th birthday (which they knew) andoverall the experience was so upsetting for the entire family. My wife and I stopped by here to grab dinner on our last night of our honeymoon in Santa Barbara. She wanted her Salmon here so... thats why we came here. We walked to the restrauant from our hotel which was a mile away. When we walked in, we got seated rightaway. I used the Dodger win pizza deal and my fiancée got her Salmon. The service was slower than usual but we wereunderstanding with the world we live in. My pizza was alright but my wife said her Salmon tasted plain. I taste it as well andit was plain to me too. When the bill came, they forgot to apply my CPK reward for the pizza so I had to tell them. Read more

I don't know why we had never eaten at CPK after all these years but I'm glad we finally did. Ironically, our first experience... of California Pizza Kitchen was in Nevada last month (eh, go figure) and that's when we remembered there is a CPK in ourarea. The food is so good and the service super friendly. I ordered the Tostada pizza out off curiosity and it is so good, Iwould get it again without hesitation. Angel was our waiter and was being shadowed by Sawer and they both provided us with thebest customer service we've had on a long time. We're definitely returning to it next visit to Santa Barbara.
