Loved our girls’ day brunch at Coast & Olive! We were on the patio and enjoyed live music, mimosas and a variety of... selections from the brunch menu. Food, service and location (at the Montecito Inn) all get 5 stars! Read more

My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary with a fine and relaxing dinner at Coast & Olive. Our food was excellent as was... the service. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of comfortable casual in a delightful upscale decor. Read more

Great lunch spot and for weekend brunch. Menu recently changed but they used to have a very good truffle pappardelle. They still... have an excellent tempura cauliflower, very good kids menu, delicious cocktails, and fresh brewed iced tea. Food tends to be alittle under salted for my taste and the lemonade is a little less sweet than my kids prefer but definitely not a problem. Mywife loves the Mamba cocktail (it's purple and gold but that's not why she loves it) Read more

Just OK. Food and cocktails were on point. Location is nice and atmosphere is great. The service really put a damper on our... visit. If we are paying $25 for “bottomless” mimosas EACH, it is my understanding that glasses should never sit empty for 5+minutes. Our server was friendly and polite, however inattentive and chatty with her friends. The worst part is there were maybe6 tables in the entire restaurant (inside/out). However delicious the food was or tasty the cocktails were, the slow service andhigh price combo will make it unlikely we come back. A huge shame. Read more

Drinks: Great! Best I’ve had in a long time, lavender martini and about bloody thyme were exquisite, parter liked the guava... margarita (can’t remember exact name) Appetizer: we got the dip duo, and it way surpassed expectations, best artichoke andpimento dips I’ve probably ever had Entrees: I had the filet ragú pasta which was phenomenal. Partner had the scallops.Scallops themselves were delicious, but neither of us really liked the risotto. I don’t know if our palates weren’tsophisticated enough for saffron risotto, but neither of us found it enjoyable. Dessert: ????lava cake had no lava, and noraspberries on top like other tables. Our great server refunded, but disappointing for an anniversary dinner. Worst part of themeal for sure Read more

Food and wine were great. As far as service, taste, execution and timing. BUT how do you rate the restaurant if they seat you by... the door in the empty restaurant in the chill weather with door being constantly left open? And you ask for the other tableright away..response: “all tables are reserved.” Well, by the time we finished our dinner, those tables were stillempty. Oh.. one more thing.. no one offered us “Valentine’s specials” either.. Read more

What a great lunch. They have a huge outdoor patio or a cozy interior to choose from. We enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board... among the four of us. Our entrees were delicious and the staff was cordial and friendly. A great place to enjoy a meal. Read more

Located in the Montecito Inn right on the corner in the cute village of Montecito. We stopped here as we were out for a... leisurely day of bike riding from Ventura to Santa Barbara and wanted to have an appetizer and a drink. The outdoor patio caughtour eye, along with the many tables that were open. I walked into the restaurant to ask if we could be seated outside and thehostess informed me that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes (at 3PM) and if we wanted to order any food we had to do soquickly. That was going to work out for us so we found a place to park our bikes and sat down. The menu that was given to us wasthe brunch menu which was limited on appetizer choices. However, we found a charcuterie plate that we thought would work for us.We ordered that along with 2 Aperol spritzers and 2 beers. When we received the charcuterie board it seemed quite smaller thanwhat we have been accustomed to. There was 10 slices of hard meats, 2 pieces of 3 different cheeses, 5 crostini pieces, 2 figs,2 dried apricots, small slice of honeycomb and some pecans. (The menu said there'd be Marconi almonds and pecans were includedinstead) The cheeses and hard meats were of good quality and were fresh. I did like the honeycomb, which was excellent with thecheese. After he put down the plate he told us the kitchen was closing and if we wanted anything else we had to order it then.Because the charcuterie plate wasn't looking like it would be enough food we decided to order the duo dips. The dips, deliveredpretty fast after ordering, were served nice and hot with a hefty basket of flatbreads. The two dips were smoked pimiento cheeseand the other was an artichoke dip. The pimiento dip was very tasty but had a thick layer of oil on top, which didn't stop usfrom eating it (cheese is full of fat so it wasn't too much of a surprise). This was my son's favorite thing that we ordered. The artichoke dip was primarily artichokes with a little bit of fresh spinach leaves, red peppers Read more
